My name is Jane Knowles-Hall. I have just rediscovered this site. My husband and I have 5 children and 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. I am retired. In my few moments of spare time I find myself researching family history. As I walk the many cemeteries, I take pictures of graves, some are members of my family others are not. I am so glad that I can share my finds with others.|
I have a blog on my genealogy finds. The address is: http://swingfromourtree.blogspot.com/
At the blog I post pictures, stories and obituaries. If you have someone in my area that you would like for me to look-up feel free to email me.
I also have a blog where I post old news that may be of interest to others and that have sometimes genealogical value. http://justsomeolenews.blogspot.com/
I have many family stories that have been shared with me about my lines. My family lines are Jones, Owens, Knowles, Nash, Painter, Hall,Prothero(e) and Edgerton, Keller, Breeden and many more. These are the primary ones I work on. I have others and my family gets together every couple years to visit and keep in touch. We have all shared in my tree at ancestry.com and my family in Wales and England help me with my research there... I spend many hours in libraries, courthouses and cemeteries across the country and in Europe.
Any individuals that I have created files for are usually directly related to me. If I do create one for someone not in my family tree I am glad to transfer along with any picture of the grave. I don't own those... they belong to their family. I am not in a contest to try and create the most or have more than what truely belongs to me.
I don't think its right for someone else to post several thousand obits and call them their find because they posted it first & then refuse to transfer it.
Feel free to use any photos I have posted.

This morning I researched your edit for R. Maria Edgerton #15561479 d 1897...and adding a spousal link to Asa Edgerton d 1900.
My concern was that Maria was 12 years older than Asa and I wasn't sure if they were the ones married. I couldn't find the Barbour Marriage Vital Records for them but found the 1870 and 1880 Federal Census which verified their ages...and will accept your edit.
Good luck with your genealogy,

find-a- grave has Kidwelly Carmarthenshire, Wales. that is about all I have on her. name Ann or Anna. dob:27 Feb 1828. Find a Grave #66407492. marriage index Illinois 1857 to Allison P. Tucker. mother of at least three children, Elizabeth Louisa Tucker- Curzon (my greatx2 grand mother),David, and Jennie Tucker. if you happen to run across any thing let me know but I'm not asking you to do any heavy research at least not yet. funds are low at the moment got to re-roof the house.
I just checked your profile noted you are related to Prothero. just wondered if off hand you have a Ann Protheroe (find a grave # 66407492)DOB possible 27 feb 1828 Wales DOD 2 jul 1906 Nebraska,Married to Allison P. Tucker in your line?
I received your edits for R Edgerton #155614791. I recently added to my contributor's page that I now require vital record proof (and not a book entry) to add or change any edit information. Unfortunately I have been getting edits with incorrect names/dates/places/links etc which confuses everyone.
I look forward to your vital record information,

Lou and Ellen were linked based on information sent by another contributor. The reason I know that is related to their individual stones. I never link unless the two are on a shared stone. I will remove the link.

|RANDY PAINTER||RE: Painter Knowles|
I would be interested in information you have on the Painter family line. My mail for FindAG goes to a separate box that I rarely see. Try firstname.lastname@example.org.

OK, now I see what the problem is....Songer Cemetery and the Poor Farm Cemetery are adjacent to each other so I will switch his memorial to Songer.....thanks.

Thank you for your email...I am wondering what to do because I obtained that information from http://interment.net/data/us/il/vermilion/poorfarm/index.htm... I know there is a lot of bad information out there but read what the contributor wrote about visiting the site.
What do you think? Have you seen a stone at Songer Cemetery? I noticed there are no stone pictures on the parents graves.
Will wait for your reply.

Yes Jane, that would be appreciated. She is my aunt, and I have photos and words to add.
Thanks - Buz
|Sharon Rodman Blazek||Edgar Rodman|
You have a record for a Michael Rodman which has been linked to a record of mine for Edgar Rodman. Edgar was my Great Uncle. His wife was Loretta, and he had only one son, whose name was John.
I believe your Michael Rodman's father's name was also Edgar, which is a logical mistake. However, it lists him as being the child of my Edgar, which is incorrect.
Could you please correct this. Thank you.
