I am a member of the Limestone Co. Historical Society. We are trying to save the old section of the New Garden Cemetery near Elkmont,AL. Many of the tombstones are in danger of being lost because of the destruction caused by vehicles running into this cemetery. We are seeking help in the restoration of this very old cemetery with a rich history. Many of those buried here are connected with the New Garden Cumberland Presbyterian Church and were early settlers in our county before it was Alabama or soon after.
