|David Hopper||RE: Austin Franks|
I hope you do not mind that I copied some wording from your profile to my profile.
|David Hopper||Austin Franks|
I have deleted the extraneous memorial for Austin and I will complete the correct memorials from the photo.
Thank you for the heads-up. My team and I have created over 80,000 memorials from Filipino grave markers in the last year. We receive a great deal of support from the Find a Grave community in doing the Transcribing. I have no idea how this photo got connected to this memorial. My wife and I are serving an LDS Church mission in the Philippines and this is one of our projects.

Someone else told me about that, too--I have contacted the person who added the picture to mine, asking that he move it to the original. When he does I'll delete mine.

Can you please transfer this memorial to me. I am his wife and would appreciate it.

I don't know how to send you a private message.
The above in subject line aremy maternal grandparents. I was wondering if you would be willing to transfer management of their pages to me.

|Sam Gibbs||Memorial 1606947 Willie Mae Bolin|
Re Willie Mae Bolin - thank you for answering my question so promptly! Hope I didn't sound snide!
I guess my next question is, who is this Willie Mae Bolin?
I had presumed (as have most folks) that it was the Willie Mae Williamss who married George Washington Bolin.
But that can not be the case. That Willie Mae was born in 1882 and married George Bolin in 1899. (This Willie Mae would have been only 10 years old at the time).
They had their first child, Newlin Dial Bolin, in 1902 - she would have been only 14.
So this is not the Willie May Bolin I presumed it was. The Willie May Bolin who married George Washington Bolin moved to Texas in the 1930's and did not die until 1969.
I guess i presumed it was the same person - sorry. But, now I have a second mystery, and that is, who is this person? Do you have any cemetery records or, anything that would help me to identify her? Any idea what her maiden name is?
Thanks for the info. I don't know what he wants about Jerry's daughter and step-daughter, but will try to find out. Appreciate your help.

|Darlene Vinson||Grand moms grave|
My grand mom, Laura Vannie Evans Strickland and my 4 yr old aunt, Addie Mary, are both buried at old High Shoals cemetery, Walton Co., High Shoals Georgia. Unfortunately they are both in unmarked graves. I just added memorials for both of them here at find a grave. And will be adding the photos of them here soon.
That's why you could not find them. I've never been to their graves but my sister has been.
|Darlene Vinson||2 Stricklad family grave site for your records|
I don't know if you have John William or my step grandmother, Julia Whitley Strickland's grave sites for your records or not.
They are both buried at Harrell Grove Church and cemetery in Douglas, Ga. Along with many other Strickland family's graves.
How my grandparents ended up in southeast Ga., from north Ga., I have no idea, nor does any of my cousins that are the siblings of my daddys brother and sisters. Another dead end so far for me to try to find out.
