|Bio and Links|
I was born in South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana and I have been interested in my family history since the 1970s. |
About 90 percent of the families I have listed are linked to either my materal or paternal side. The remaining links are related but I have not been able to find a connection to my grandparents.
My Hungarian maternal Galgoczy-Galgoczi heritage is traced to the 1650s, while my Hungarian paternal Farkas side can be traced to the 1850s. I have been published in newspapers for Hungary and Bulgaria in my successful efforts to locate, contact or expand on my quest for family members. Counting my greatgrandchildren, there are a total of fourteen generations accounted for on my maternal Galgoczi family!
I believe in sharing, for that is what ancestry is all about, the historical story-telling of families passed on through the generations. So if you see a family you'd like to link to, please notify me. And feel free to contact me if you find errors.
My ancestors have taught me a lot. Through the research and discoveries of their hardships, achievements, spiritual values, celebrations, personal losses and endurances to survive governmental upheavals, wars, land acquisitions, climatic disasters and disease epidemics – I found that they not only left a trail of tears and joy, but that they all had a story to tell. By posting their "story-trail" on the internet, I hope to be part of their legacy of history, a history shaped by love.

I have removed Emil since yours was created earlier. Please give a contributor time to make corrections as this contributor (Carol Busboom) that asked me to remove Emil first sends several hundred changes to me a week. It takes time to complete these requests and Find A Grave rules state that you should give a contributor a month before contacting again. Duplicates happen and I apologize for this mistake.

You're very welcome! There is a duplicate as Emil T. Zajic, but I have contacted the other contributor and asked her to delete her record, which isn't nearly as detailed as yours.
|Linda Berney||RE: Zajic, Adolph E.|
The reason for the inadvertent duplicate - your memorial has Adolph buried "unknown" so it was not apparent that a memorial already existed. Would you please put him in the proper cemetery so the merge can be requested? Thanks.
|Darren DePoy||RE: Andy Horvath|
I'm not sure what you mean about copying the picture because I took the picture that I had posted. Do you mean the memorial? I've deleted mine so please update his burial location. I don't search for burial unknowns when I add memorials as they are not supposed to be added.

It is done. But the edit button is on the top right side above pictures. The reason I asked to use it is it makes it easier to locate. It sends a link in email and all I have to do it click and delete or make corrections.
Have a good evening.

Please send it though the edit button.

Thank you. With the Betty connection - I am leaving this alone. I know Charlotte had the Stahl last name when her mother died. This connects my great aunt with her children.

Yes, you told me you had contacted the administrator of the other memorial. I thought I had replied with a thank you for taking care of that. Sorry if my reply didn't go through.
