|I was born and raised in rural Nebraska, on a farm with a family cemetery, but didn't know much about family history, I think that started my interest in both genealogy and cemeteries. Began work on the family tree 30+ years ago, and it is still growing.|
Findagrave is a great site, but there is still a lot of work to be done. I'm into photography, so try to put as many marker pictures on Finda as possible. I've added more than 2000 to a local cem.
I keep finding our relatives, many recently added to Findagrave, found one that was added 3 days before I did the search! I will gladly turn over memorials of your relatives, unless they are more closely related to us.
Unfortunately, some individuals seem to be very uncooperative, they will not turn over the maintenance of a memorial OR add information that is provided to them. It appears that they are in a race to start short memorials, with little information, and are looking only at the total number.
A big "Thank You" to all the cooperative people that I've found on this site!
PERMISSION GRANTED TO USE ANY PHOTOS OF MINE
*** my dad is no longer on Find-a-Grave very often (however he is still very much alive!). I would be happy to transfer any memorials if you just leave him a message with the memorial number and your contributor number I will get to them as soon as I can. Thank you and sorry for any delays. Our family memorials will be transferred to someone else in the family so if we are more closely related I may decline. Also, please note his email address is no longer valid. Mine is firstname.lastname@example.org ***

Hi Jim -- I to am not related but I have been a contributor for 15 years and have had a number of memorials transferred to me. So if you want to trans a bunch of them that is fine with me.
|Terry Hawkes||RE: Ida M Gates Searle|
Relative or not, I would love to have whoever you give me. I am finally slowing down just a little and have the time to really get into this. I also have thought a lot about the Reimers. With the S on the end. I know there are many people that change their last names a little bit. I cannot think of any Reimers that we are related to, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are some. I believe I have seen it in some of the genealogy stuff I have researched, but nothing I have as yet verified.
Thank you for everything!!
|Misty Blankenship||RE: Sarah Alice Pittenger Bartenbach|
Hello! I'd love to have Sarah's memorial. She was my great grandmother's sister. If you can't find homes for any other Pittengers feel free to transfer them to me and I will connect them to their families. My contributor#47044290. I do hope your dad is okay!
|Sue/Ahnenwald||Alois Kressor transfer|
Hi, thanks for the offer to transfer. I would appreciate it. My contributor ID is 47001159. Alois Kresser (correct spelling, gravestone is misspelled) was my gggrandfather's brother and left no heirs. His estate was divided among his siblings and siblings's children in the USA, Austria, and Switzerland. Find A Grave Memorial# 47452823. Beautiful photographs, btw.
Tell your dad thanks for all he did on find a grave. I'm sure many people appreciate it.
