Retired and I love working on family history and genealogy.

My mother's maternal lines are the Duncan, Colemans, Braggs.

Her father's mother was a Smith. The Smiths are out of Jackson/Clay County, TN. I've been trying to get one of my Smith male relatives to test their y-DNA, but no luck yet.

If you ever feel like splurging, try the Family Finder Test. It's less expensive if you do it as an upgrade. I did it for my mom last week, so the results are probably a week or two away.
