Bio and Links
Bio Photo I grew up listening to my mother tell me anything and everything about Our family to the point that it became a quest to find out what happen to these people. My grandparents had all passed except for my Nana by the time I came along. I've been working on Our family tree for more than 20 years and we certainly have Our share of mysteries. I grew up next to a graveyard looking at all the old graves and wondering about the people buried there. My husband thinks I have a strange addiction to graves. Probably true. If your looking for a grave in my area I'll be more than happy to take a look.. Areas I'm familiar with are Abington, Weymouth, Randolph, Holbrook and Rockland Massachusetts.

PS: My husband has come around and is now taking photos for me lol.. He's hooked.

RE: Lydia Shaw
Boy, the plot thickens....

Lydia Vinson or Richards is my 6th Great Grandmother.

Lydia Richards married Nicholas Shaw Jr. abt 1711 and is the 7th and final child of John Richards and Sarah Pratt. Lydia Vinson married Nicholas Shaw Jr. abt 1711 and is the 5th and final child of JOHN Vinson and SARAH RICHARDS Gurney Vinson. At least, that's what my records are telling me.

I'm wondering if Lydia's gravestone will shed any light on the matter.

Thank you again for all your help, Marilyn!

Lydia Shaw
Hi Marilyn,

First off, thanks so much for posting the gravestone for Lydia Vinson Shaw.

Second, can you please tell me why it is listed as Lydia "Vinson" Shaw when the biography lists her as Lydia Richards? The "Vinson" is throwing me off. I cannot tell from the gravestone if Vinson is anywhere mentioned. I'm assuming that Lydia Vinson and Lydia Richards are one in the same.

Is that correct? Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you, Todd Packard

Christensen/Kelly
I took the photo of the Christensen grave today and wanted to let you know I could not find any grave for Gail Kelly nearby. This is a beautiful cemetery!

RE: Johanna Ahlstedt
I work on many Find A Grave pages and sometimes I create the family tree and of course if some ones family has any connection to what I'm working on, then I include them into the tree. Never even forget any babies who were stillborn or didn't even survive their childhood because of diseases. I also come upon pages that are missing info, and I go into researching the missing info and send it to the person who created page.

RE: Johanna Ahlstedt
I looked at the Find A Grave page and I haven't a clue about her dates. A little more info helps.

Also in process of looking up Dorothy Louise (Ahlstedt) Christensen's burial. It's possible she is buried in Mt. Wollaston. I will call them on Friday to verify. This includes her husband George Arthur Christensen.
