Bio and Links
Bio Photo I got the genealogy bug when my great-aunt's grandson sent me a photo of my 2nd great-grandparents on their 50th wedding anniversary with the entire family. Only 4 people in the photo were identified. Since that time I have contacted relatives I did not know I had. I have also been able to identify everyone in the photo now. I have done research not only on my surname but grandparents, 2nd great-grandparents on both sides. I especially love doing research on my mother's parents because Parke County has a great website. I am at a stand-still on my own surname as I don't know exactly where in Prussia my 2nd great-grandfather was born. I always love to get in contact with new "cousins".

RE: Robert and Ethel Folden
You are most welcome, I only wish I could have done more. When I have more time I will go back and probe for cemetery markers, I have found some that are as much as 8 inches into the ground.
Most of those at Woodbine were made from concrete 1 in thick X 1 ft X 8 inches wide.

Don't trust the FindAGrave memorials. As I posted, the Stephens memorials are being attacked. Also under attack, are the associated families.

I believe these Dickson's in photos were primarily in the Chicago area. I'll have to find them.

RE: Stephens and Dickson and Adams
Depending on where you are, I might have photos. I was given Dickson photos from Illinois I think it was. I'm not exactly sure who they are, but I have names on the back of some.

Where are the places you've mentioned? I live near Boonville, Missouri. Have you been to the Adams' graves in Boonville?
I'm going to email you an article on Adams family deaths. Strange circumstances. The John Q Adams was the fiancee of Anna Alexander. She was the sister of my great great grandmother.

Could you give me your lineage? I might have stuff on it. I assume you talk to Marlin Buelow? In case not, I have his research. I've visited Margaret's grave many times at Cottonwood (and I can't seem to access my Reunion 9 right now so I may be off track-just from memory). And I now live near Boonville.
My lineage is Joseph Stephens m Catherine Dickson/John Dickson Stephens m Mary Alexander/Kate Stephens m Joseph Craig/Cassie Craig m Joseph Griffin.
I also own the original (copy) of the letter about Josiah Dickson's life written by his grandson, in case you haven't seen it.
P.S. I have a photo of Joseph Stephen, Sr's house and I wanted to put it up. Thank you for taking down the other photo. The photo was given to me by a very elderly beloved cousin who was the daughter in law of George Dickson Stephens. She said the house stood for many many years.

Stephens Memorials
Hi Jim,
Could you please remove the photo of the tombstone you put on Joseph Stephens, Sr.'s page? It's identical to the one I put up some years before.
I notice you have Dickson info. Are you a Dickson?
Please don't transfer your Dickson and Stephens memorials to anyone. Lots of problems going on right now with phony people claiming to be members of the family. They are getting memorials transferred to them, then they change them and put up erroneous info.
