Bio

What I find sad is lost graves; my great grand uncle Anthony J. Mathews grave location in the Hayden, Colorado cemetery was lost because of a fire. He had no grave marker.

Most of my entries in the Oak Creek Cemetery in Oak Creek Colorado have been because my last living aunt could not remember where my step great grandfather is buried. This fact started me on a quest to help improve the Oak Creek cemetery listing. I have added more than 1300 records to the Oak Creek cemetery. I corrected information from the list in the cemetery as I have found errors, from my photos of the markers in the cemetery.

Individuals and family members should be remembered. Our past is the glue that holds for a brighter future.

I also believe that family links are important, if you know family members please send me the links.

Transfers ask! generally I transfer memorials as long as you do not delete or fail to maintain the memorial that makes me sad.

Please do not create duplicate memorial just because you want to "own" the memorial. I will gladly remove any memorial that I accidentally duplicate following Find A Grave policy maintaining first creator rights.

If you find any mistakes, want additional information or bio added PLEASE MAKE ALL SUGGESTIONS AND REQUESTS USING THE EDIT BUTTON and use one of the suggest a correction links and I will then approve, revise or add the information as soon as I can.

Photos: people should ask to use; the photo taker has the copyright to the photo, you should not post them anywhere else without written permission. Sadly copyright and Find A Grave policy is greatly ignored, my photos have ended up everywhere. Having said that, Feel free to use my photos and biographical comments to enhance your genealogical projects. Use of photos for commercial use is prohibited without permission. Crediting me as a source is a nice touch but not necessary.

Many thanks to Topeka Tom (#47257078), Peggy Bargen Duey (#46873059) for making Find A Grave a better place. Peggy has infinitely expanded my family tree with her Memorials. Topeka Tom gave me back hope when I was about to surrender to the nut cases that do not read Find A Grave policy and those who are just plain impolite.

Finally please visit the Find A Grave memorial of my first cousin once removed Fryar, Elmer E.
