Mildred C. Sloan (Kaplan)
Hi. We recently visited the Sparks Cemetery in Nebraska and saw your photo request. We found a headstone which read Mildred C. SOLAN (Kaplan) with the same dates of birth/death. There are no SOLAN's in the database so I assume this is the right grave. Either the headstone is improperly engraved or the name on the memorial should be SOLAN. I'll await your response before posting the photo.

Thank you for the photo of my aunt. Is it possible to make it a little smaller.

RE: Raymond Stanford Wooley
You are welcome! The newspaper report of his death is quite interesting and tragic. Do you have a photo of Wooley or any others in of from his family?

John McLain
Thank you for posting the obituary of John McLain. This information was very helpful. It is sad that he lost a wife and 10 of his children during his lifetime. He was married to my great-aunt, Claudia O'Ella Thomas and they had five children; four of which were living at the time of his death.
