I'm a passionate genealogist spending all my time on my own family tree including distant and married in ancestral lines while trying to dabble in as much genealogy volunteerism as possible. I'm even making it a career so I don't have to take breaks as much. ;) Hobby since 1999, profession since 2007.|

I did not find Jeanie Dumans Gibson. do you have any more info that might help? was not in the area with the other 3.
|Jan Wallace||Johannes and Catherine Brillinger|
I gather that you are related to the above Johannes and Catherine Diehl Brillinger buried in the Zion Lutheran Church Cem.? Have you seen on FB that they are going to disinter the people buried in this cemetery and move them to another location? Since the majority of the stones in the cemetery are impossible to read, they are looking for descendants to find info. You might check FB, there is a link to a news article about the cemetery and it's probably removable. You can contact me at email@example.com

Maybe if I add HTTP fields to the link here it will be clickable:
York PA seeks descendants of those buried in Zion Lutheran Church cemetery

Just passing along a link to an article that just came to my attention:
Since you appear to have populated internment records for this cemetery, I thought you should be made aware of this situation in the event that you are one of the descendants being sought, or perhaps know of others.

Thank you for the quick response. Yes, later yesterday I figured it out.
Thank you for the offer, I do not wish to have the accounts.
HECKER is one of my main families, so when I spotted the lineage you have uncovered I was elated. However I have some different results.
Henry Hecker b. 3/17/1853 was my mother's grandfather. Her version of his background was that when he was a boy in Germany, his father remarried, and Henry decided to come to America. His uncle , a paperhanger, who was already here was supposed to meet him, but when he didn't show up, Henry became an apprentice to a baker, learned the trade and opened his own business.
Henry Hecker b. 1834 was his uncle and we have founded houses that he wallpappered. So that part of the legend sounds legit.
Do you have any documents show John Jacob Hecker as his father? Henry's wife, Catherine Weisbrod was a member of St Stephen's Lutheran in S. Baltimore.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
I see William Whitehurst dates 1882 - 1939.
The following article states son William five years of age at father's funeral which means he was born abt. 1932. Yet his son's William Henry dates are 1912 - 1984.
What do I misunderstand?

You are very welcome!!! Blessings, Dana
|Jackie Witmer||RE: Mundorff's|
Im curious about Mundorff Stones in Rock Chapel Cemetery , Adams Co., Pa. I believe Agnes Mundorff is my Agnes but am confused about John A Mundorff. Her husband was John but he was still alive as of July 12 1870 in census and was 54 in that census. Was wondering if their was any other Mundorffs in that cemetery...

Looking at the entries for the West Genoa Cemetery, I must have had a cemetery burial list that was put together by someone who probably walked the cemetery recording the names and dates. Some of these lists were recorded in the 40s & 50s, and even then dates and names were not always legible. Unfortunately, I did not keep a record of where I got the list nor from whom. Wish I could be of more help.
