Bio Photo A big thank you to all the great volunteers who are helping in the gathering of information and the requesting photos for all the WW II memorials. I am getting so many additions that it is possible that I did not send a thank you but be assured that I am very thankful.

Photographs and pictures I have taken or posted may be used for only non commercial purposes. If I have posted a photo on a memorial and that memorial is removed the photo cannot be used for any other purposes.
I am no longer a Photo Volunteer due to stolen pictures that have been copied and then placed on new memorials.
Most of the Memorials I manage are not relatives. I transfer management outside the Find A Grave recommendations. Please ask for transfers the recommended way.

Could you add the following website to this memorial? Thanks. Hoping family members will find it. James

RE: harry howard hurwitz
I was just curious of how to get to the cemetery and also just how specific you get with your documenting each grave. If I was on this fascinating volunteer photo documenting journey,I'd be taking gps coordinates if I owned that kind of device, write down the neighbors to the grave of the picture, and if the picture is near a major landmark of street. As these cemeteries as of 2017 are changing their look,by cutting more trees down, installing real border fences rather than chicken wire, and locating any grave or at least memorizing where the grave was upon last visit is getting tougher at least for me.As I like to clean the stones with my natural chemical cleanse and distilled water and weed wack so the grave can strut it's 1900s look!!!! Well thanks for all your hard efforts !!!!

Thank you!

for honoring so many fallen in action.
My great uncle was killed in action in
WWII and still lies in a foreign grave.

You noted a fella who made it home.
He needed a death date, I've sent an
EDIT TAB for him. I also attached a
photo of his headstone paper.

If you wish the headstone pic to be
removed, pick any memorial and let
me know (EDIT TAB msg).

Again, thank you.

Rich, thank you for adding the information to Manuel's bio. He's one of 2,199 servicemen buried first in Fosse#1 in Liege, Belgium and then transferred to the US. I've taken the interest in this cemetery and it's former occupants because my uncle was one and because Max Noel is writing a book about it. Thank you again, Cheryl
