I am a U.S. Navy Veteran with a tour of duty in Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam. I was assigned to VP-48 which was home based at NAS Moffett Field CA. I worked on and flew in the P-3A Orion. I am married and have two children, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. I am a retired letter carrier from the U.S. Postal Service. I am a member of the American Legion and I am a volunteer firefighter.|
I really enjoy being a volunteer for F-A-G. You can use my photos on your personal family trees all you want. All I ask, is that if you publish them in print anywhere, please give me credit for the photo. I keep the original full-sized photos on file and will be happy to email them to you if you need them rather than copying them from F-A-G. I welcome all contacts, corrections and updates. I will be happy to transfer memorials to family members. I consider it my honor to repair and/or reset the flags placed on the graves of our Veterans.

Been doing some touchup in Laurens.. The above mentioned memorial, you have a photo on that is a photo of the wrong marker. It's a marker for Roberts, not Ropp.
Hello. My husband and myself do numerous photo requests in the area. We were up at Sylvan Abbey today - with our list in hand. I came across the graves of Phillip Vilmure and thought it was the same as the photo request - but the request is for the son and not the father. I photographed the markers of Phillip and Anastasia and added them to your existing memorial pages for them. Thought you might like to see them. (And we'll keep on looking for their son.)

|Eleanor Morrison Lawson||Thanks|
I would just like to say "thanks for all you do for Find a Grave" It really means a lot to people like me who can no longer do these things and am so glad to take advantage of using them. My son also retired from postal service so I know your retirement was well earned.
Thanks for your voluntary service to others.

Hey Jimmy - Thanks for letting me manage my Mom's grave. You are so right about living out of state and being able to visit your parent's grave any time through Find-A-Grave. I sincerely thank you and appreciate your help.

Hey Jimmy, I was requesting that my mother's grave be transferred into my care. Mom was a wonder person and I would be so honored to have her grave site be part of my care. I live in Atlanta and don't get home often but Google Maps her so I can "visit" the grave often. Thanks for considering my request.
thank you so much for the flowers you left for my grandfather!!! when I saw this it brought tear to my eyes !!! I put flowers on my grandmother's grave for every occasion I didn't know how to get to my grandfather's grave thank you for that!!!
