I became interested in genealogy in 1993 after my grandmother passed away. I have collected over 40,000 names 4500 obituaries, and 1500 death certificates for descendants of 1880 Lawrence County, Ohio.
In 2010 I found findagrave and found it to be a excellent site for remembering our ancestors.
I have done considerable work on City Cemetery, Brownsville, Texas, (adding 20,000+ names, in addition to several 1000 more by other volunteers - 25,000+ total), I also have done several smaller cemeteries in Brownsville and Lawrence Co, Ohio.
I am also working to index Brownsville Death Certificates from 1950 to 1982 (images available on familysearch.org up to 1982) and the Brownsville Herald Newspaper obits from 1977 to 2017. Currently have scanned images of 1977 to 2017, with index complete from 1977 to 2017. If you need a Brownsville obit in this time frame, send me a note with the name and death date.
Just found a great webpage, adblock.com. It is shareware, you don't have to pay but it is worth $15-30 to block almost every ad. Stops the ads on findagrave, well worth something to stop them, but also stops adchoices garbage.
Do not post photo requests for City Cemetery. All readable headstones have been posted.
Photo requests for Buena Vista and Rose Lawn in Brownsville requires contacting the cemetery by a family member to obtain plot location information. They will not give the info to a non family member, who knows why, its just "policy".

Thank you for all of the work and care taken on the Brownsville Old City Cemetery.

Believe Sarah Ellen Wright Walters 61271758 is shown buried in Swan Creek Cemetery because her name is listed on gravestone with her husband, but she is actually buried in Warren County, Ohio - memorial 161276025 as "Ellen Walters". I talked to her daughter from her first marriage several years ago and she provided that name and grave location. Just located memorial recently, and date and family history confirm both memorials are for the same person. Can you change burial location on memorial 61271758 before I start adding dates and names and a photo to her memorial? E-mail me at email@example.com if you need more information. James D. HI David, I was wondering where you found Agapita's Obit and if you could send me the link? I have been unable to find.

David, thanks for the information. Those are the same documents I have. But I have been unable to find any information on the name Windoholer! Nothing comes up on a general search of Ancestry, Google, Family Search, nowhere can I find that name other than on those two documents. Thanks for your help. Maybe someday, something will pop up!

David, you show Theresa's maiden name as Windoholer. Could I ask your source for this information? She is my husband's GG Grandmother. We were always told her maiden name was Zind. Thank you for your time. Jeannie Place
