Thank you for the photo of Mr. Brooks' tombstone. Our Genealogical Society is working on a book of Civil War Vets who once lived in Boone County, Nebraska. We would like to use your photo in our book with your permission. Thank you for your consideration.

O that is great! I'm glad you didn't feel imposed! I misunderstood your message that said there was only 10 or 11 graves.I thought you meant that was the total count of burials in that cemetery. My bad! :) I'm happy to know you and your wife enjoyed that time together. Sincerely thanks,Ms Nana

Hi Steve, thank you for your time and efforts searching for Joseph Durrance grave and headstone, even if it doesn't exist in that cemetery. Too many memorials(by the thousands on findagrave) are created with false burial locations, very disheartening! Even if I create a memorial and am not sure of burial ,I just put unknown burial. The Florida memorials of my ancestors created send too many volunteers such as yourself on wild goose chases. I'm so sorry but I do appreciate you for your trouble. Take care,Ms Nana

I do not know for sure unfortunately. I can only say its there based on information found online. I don't know how she could come to be listed to be there if she were not. I think its possible she was never given a headstone. As far as I know she didn't have any family there outside of a husband who may or may not have passed before herself... And possibly had children but I do not know that for certain. I would think even without a headstone there would be some type of marker placed to identify her. I will try contacting the caretaker to see if I can clear things up. And once I do if there is anything you can photo document I will ask you to try again for me! I really appreciate your help in the matter. This relative was always a mystery to my family, as she was my grandfathers twin, but had lost touch with all family members decades ago.

Thank you kindly for your efforts in attempting to photograph the plot of my grandfather's twin sister Geraldine.. I will work on contacting the cemetery to see if they can correct the location of the plot. Maybe in the future you will be willing to try once again for me. If so, Thank you in advance. It really means a lot to me.
