Bio

I live in Washington County In the rural area of Riverside, Iowa. I began back in 1986 researching which lead me to expanding my genealogy to my wife' side of the family. This is how I met and made friends with David McMonigle. I have tried to help with pictures of grave stones in our county.

Please Be aware I am glad to give any and all photos I have taken of grave stones for your use in any way you wish to use them. I am also glad to transfer any memorials that I did out of respect for family because they might have been unable to otherwise do themselves at any particular time frame. If you request a DVD of cemetery stones photos in my possession I will be glad to mail one to you. I will also email a photo to you upon request.

A note: In 2011 I was hospitalized in January and again in July. I am just now recovering in great condition But I wish to let you all know that my plans for traveling to cemetery's has suffered because of my health I have all the stones in Shiloh North and South In Washington County. I have not posted them because I had unfortunately lost my 2 computers and I have just built one new computer as of this week of November 2011. I was able to recover all my photos and plan to get back taking pictures next year. I will try my hardest to visit as many cemetery's in Washington County so I can fulfill photo requests and also post pictures that I can Identify. Shiloh South is in quite a disarray and many stones are unreadable or missing/broken. It is a shame and should be restored by competent Historical restoration teams. Thank everyone for your kindness and patience.
