Bio and Links
Bio Photo My granddaughter at the grave of her 2nd cousin whom she was named after.

My sister, Nan Kelly, passed away 1-10-17. I have taken custody of her memorials. I will be glad to help with her memorials if I can.

It is my wish that I have entered someone you are looking for. If I have entered any one related to you and they are not related to me - I will be happy to transfer. My goal is not to see how many memorial I can create, but to help you find your love ones . I don't mean to offend anybody, the memorials are made so love ones can find their relatives. If I have entered anything incorrectly, I will be glad to correct.

Any and all information or pictures, I have uploaded, are meant for sharing. Family memories were meant to be passed on. I just don't understand anyone that thinks different. I think if you don't want to share, than don't put them on a public site.
-------------------------------------------------
Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

Thanks so much Mary!! I appreciate your prompt reply; especially since the editor for the grave at FSH has closed his message delivery and is apparently no longer assisting with edits. I did find several military referrals to the FSH site so I think it is more likely the grave site.

I am always running across "new" to me Arnn folks; thanks for taking care of them.

re: memorial for Robert Lee "Bob" White
Mary, Hello! I am so thankful for the memorial that your dear sister Nan created for my father's brother Bob. I have added photos in the past and have made small edits, but now I've added photos his obit, and need to rearrange them and the other photos.
I would be so grateful if you could transfer his memorial to me.
-- I see your name is Kelly. Are you related to Bob's wife Francis? -- Eventually I'm hoping to research and rewrite his story in my own words.
Again, my thanks to all you and your sister have done for FindAGrave!
Sincerely, Carolyn

Jalie Newberry
Hello,

I am a distant cousin of this woman through her grandfather, Newton Bennett. Newton and his wife Jalie had a son William Young Bennett who moved to Cooke County Texas from Haywood County, North Carolina.

Anyway, I'm doing my best to trace this family through that area with one of Newton's great grandchildren, and I was just curious being that Jalie's son appears to be your father, if you could fill me in on how many biological children Jalie Newberry had? I would appreciate any info, Thanks, Mike

Photo/Gravesite of Yvonne Padgett Maddox
Dear Mr. Miller,

Many thanks for taking the photo and posting it of the gravesite of Yvonne Padgett Maddox d. 3 January 2017. Although it is a new gravesite, you gave us the dates which is the most important aspect.
This helps our work on the family tree.

Thanks.

Pearl Mabel Holland Boyett #51532946
Mary,

I apologize for the misunderstanding. My message was sent to correct the parents of Pearl Mable Holland. Those shown on Find A Grave were not her parents. Leona Davis m. Rufus Holland. Leona and Rufus were Pearl's parents.

Please forgive my not being more thorough.

Faye

Mary, Pearl's parents were Leona Davis Holland and Rufus Holland. They are found on the 1910 Census in Kaufman, Texas, but they are incorrectly shown as Halland instead of Holland. Pearl was not a year old but she is shown.
