|I am grateful for information I've found here in my amateur genealogy research and so I started contributing to this site. |
Transfers: I am willing to transfer "under the guidelines" and "outside the guidelines". I think "the guidelines" foolishly limit the enjoyment most contributors get from this website.
If I have no family relationship, I will transfer to anyone who has a connection to the memorial or who is willing to add information to the memorial (unless you yourself are someone who "only transfers under the guidelines").
If I have a family relationship, I will compare notes with you and work something out with you that is fair to both of us.
Thank you in particular to those members who have kindly transferred memorials that I've requested.
You may use my photos from this site for any nice purpose. Please give me credit as "cmm945 at Find-A-Grave".
My email is cmm945 at yahoo dot com.
I am tired of looking this information up, so I am copying it here:
How do I add a link from one memorial to another?
In the biography, you would need to type
< a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=XXXXXXX">Name< /a>
where XXXXXXX is the GRid number of the memorial you want to link. The GRid is a unique id for each memorial and as such is the only thing within the entire URL that must be included. The "Name" is what will show up on the screen as a link.
You will need to remove the space between < and a at the beginning as well as the space between the < and / at the end. The spaces were added here to actually show you the code.

Charlie, feel free to use the picture any way you want. We're just sorry it's not a better one as it was raining the day we were there. G&B

I am interested in the Gude family, because Arthur's mother was from my place in Germany. It took me years to find Arthur's place of burial. That's why I can recall. See he is listed here
Years ago I was in contact with a nephew of Arthur. He told me that Arthur worked most of his life as the manager of Concordia Turner Hall on Gravois Road in St. Louis, not far from the Peter and Paul Cemetery. There is a plaque on the wall there in his memory.

Your welcome to use any pictures or information I have added. The Forenza family came from the same town in Italy as did mine. At this time I can not connect both families.

No, I happened upon his info while researching someone else.

Sorry, I got sidetracked and forgot to ask permission before I sent those memorials. I was trying to give you back some verified and completed Nuessles/Lilliechs to make up for the ones you gave me. They are inlaws I found this morning physically next to Oliver and Dorthea Nuessle. She was supposed to be in KC with her kids but she is buried in St. Louis with her husband. I am almost done. I only had to add 26 graves to build out 6 generations of my family.
But I bet I put in well over a 1000 links so you can actually find a grave. Send anything you dont want back or send them to someone you trust. Thanks for your help.
I see that you have Clarence Willingham in your list of entries. He was my grandmother's half brother. Recently I had a grave marker made for the family at St. Matthews in St. Louis. The entry that I just made for Clarence includes the grave marker, and his record number is 183011991. I don't use this site all that often and didn't know how to link the two sets of records. I'm open to any advice. Have a good day!
thank you for transferring the monuments for John H. Grabill and Ralph Gillespie Grabill, it is greatly appreciated
