|I am grateful for information I've found here in my amateur genealogy research and so I started contributing to this site. |
Transfers: I am willing to transfer "under the guidelines" and "outside the guidelines". I think "the guidelines" foolishly limit the enjoyment most contributors get from this website.
If I have no family relationship, I will transfer to anyone who has a connection to the memorial or who is willing to add information to the memorial (unless you yourself are someone who "only transfers under the guidelines").
If I have a family relationship, I will compare notes with you and work something out with you that is fair to both of us.
Thank you in particular to those members who have kindly transferred memorials that I've requested.
You may use my photos from this site for any nice purpose. Please give me credit as "cmm945 at Find-A-Grave".
My email is cmm945 at yahoo dot com.
I am tired of looking this information up, so I am copying it here:
How do I add a link from one memorial to another?
In the biography, you would need to type
< a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=XXXXXXX">Name< /a>
where XXXXXXX is the GRid number of the memorial you want to link. The GRid is a unique id for each memorial and as such is the only thing within the entire URL that must be included. The "Name" is what will show up on the screen as a link.
You will need to remove the space between < and a at the beginning as well as the space between the < and / at the end. The spaces were added here to actually show you the code.

In lieu of the requested update, I've attached Robert Andrew Bertram's World War II draft registration to his Find A Grave Memorial# 154754395. It identifies has town of birth as Tea, Missouri.

|L Lucca||This is my Grandmother!|
Hi! My father, Andrew Elton Pope, just passed away. I was created his memorial and wanted to link his mother and father. I came across Blanche Pope, who passed in 1972!
Her maiden name is RUDY, and she was married to Wiley Mobley POPE. They had five children:
-Mary Ellen Pope born ~ 1922, and died ~ 1936 from meningitis
-Theodosia Pope born in 1924, married Richard DeKruft, and passed away but I don't know the year.
-Andrew Elton Pope born in 1926, married Donna Jean Eflin, and passed June 6 2017
-Laura Anne Pope born 1928, has passes but I don't know when, and
- Nancy Jane Pope born 1930, married Donald Patton and is still living.
Is it possible for you to update Grandmother Pope's memorial to include some of this data?
Thanks so much!

I am hoping you might be able to help me obtain more information for this memorial.
I called the cemetery and rec'd a recording that said if I leave my phone # someone would return my call....well nobody ever did.
1. How did you originally obtain the information you used for this memorial? Are you by chance related?
2. Do you know a better way I can contact the cemetery to get more information?
3. Are you aware if there is a headstone? If so, are you able to take a picture for me or should I go through the normal channels?

Thanks for the death certificate for John Gill, f-a-g #155704464. This is definitely the person I was looking for. If you want to maintain this Memorial, I can send you edits. If you want to transfer to me, I can update data, add a brief bio, and add links to father, mother, spouse. THANKS - Steven Beall

I have a note on the memorial at Valhalla. My opinion is to delete the St. Matthew one.
