Just a Findagraver helping my spouse with Family History. I am not a photo volunteer but will make efforts to try and help with central western Colo. area in hopes to repay those that have helped me.|
I do not have a problem transferring memorials for editing/linking purposes to those that can show a family line. Naturally I will retain those of my family.
I hereby serve notice regarding my photos: If they can be used to enhance any memorial anyplace, please use them. Signed LMH

Don't disagree with me, disagree with the Federal Census.

Hi I believe you are my Uncle Larry. How have you been? This is Mike Head Jr. Walter Head is my Great-grandfather. I hope all is well with you and your family. I have been doing a little ancestry research.

Hi Larry, are you speaking of Charles Albert Gordon 1875-1954, the son of William Smith Gordon? William was the brother of my great-grandfather James Gordon, the father of James Thomas Gordon, who you transferred to me.

Old wounds, no not at all. Like I said, I kept his family. lol His name is Lanny Morris and he is on the list of lottery winners. Honestly, there is no one but him in Colorado.

Larry, to be honest with you, I kept my married name thinking of my children but I wish I had not. And I got divorced at age 35 and never married again. I am now 73. This Morris family comes from Oklahoma via Tennessee. My ex husband lives in Denver or Arora though. The best thing I kept are my children and his family!
I am from the Weaver family so if you want that information, I have it for you.

You can find her in the Mississinewa Memorial --Wabash, Wabash Co., Indiana. This site will tick you off because of the message they leave. I take it you are her family so, here are her ancestors:
John Eltzroth 1786-1809
Elizabeth Lorana Weaver 1792-1864
John Weaver d. June 1826
Johan Enoch Weaver 1725-1806 REV WAR
Mary Elizabeth VanCampen 1731-1815
Johannes Weber (Weaver) 1693-1729
Maria Magdalina Herlinger
Hans David Weber 1666-1745
Maria Barbara Lang
Ludwig Andres Weber
I have more on the VanCampen family if you want it. I do happen to think this is a family site and that all any of us have is family.
|Terence Ryan||RE: F.A.G. Photos|
Dear Mr. H.
In honoring requests for F.A.G photos, I rarely look at the site to find out if a photo already exists. I also don't generally look at the weather or the lighting conditions or whether or not the cemetery is being watered at the time of my sojourn. Consequently, my efforts may fall somewhat short of optimum. Also, I find that taking a photo of half of a stone does a dishonor to the spouse of the person for which a request has been made.
This being said, I leave all future requests in your capable hands, knowing full well that they probably will not be honored.
BTW. If you expect me to delete photos based on memorial numbers, you are going to have to give me correct numbers, complete with all eight digits.
|Robin||RE: Mabel Holman # 142714452|
Mabel is buried in Block 15 of Crown Hill. Many people in Block 15 died in 1918, i think there was a flu epidemic that year. There were obits for her starting Dec 10 so she probably died a few days before. A quick search on Ancestry showed Fraser was probably her maiden name.
I don't know anything else beyond what her headstone reveals.

I like to get records into the hands of family because I believe they get the best care that way. Let me know if I can help you in any other way. I know there are many Gibsons in Oakhill Cemetery but don't know if you are related. I will add more photos of them on my cemetery walks.
