Wow! I am so excited to see the stones. I wanted to be there for the ceremony, but too far away for us. Thank you so much for putting the photo on Find A Grave, and so fast. It means so much,after such a long search.

|E. M.||Heinrich Gerdts - Davenport City Cemetery|
Thanks so much for sending me the information that is on his new military stone. I saw the news story tonight online and thought I spotted one with his name on it. I am super happy that Heinrich will soon have a gravestone to mark his resting place. -E.M.

I just uploaded the marker for both of them on their memorials. I was fulfilling a request at St Michaels and remembered a request from last year.

Per your request I have included the Obituary for Christiana Muller, wife of Fritz Jahn.

She is not in the St. Anthony records.
I thought maybe you had some information that stated Jacob was buried at St. Anthony - I also found him on the church records but there probably is no death certficate as it is too early.
Yes I noticed and thank You! I was married to a Blocker and I lived in Davenport, Scott Co., Iowa. I tried to find the names of the parents of Claus but was not successful. I did find him on a ships passenger list immigrating as a bachelor.
