Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have always been interested in genealogy and loved walking through cemetery's. While doing my family tree I found this site.
My husband is a great help to me since my main cemetery interest is in Land Between the Lakes on the Southern end. People were forced out of the area by the government to make it a public recreation area. Most of the cemeteries in the area can be traced back to the 1800's. The cemeteries have been neglected and vandalized.
Interest in Briggs, Cox, Wilks, Amster,Purnell, Kent, Sykes,Sikes, Wofford, and Russell.

Any of my personal family photo's I have decided to share on this site are NOT to be downloaded for any reason.

If I take a photo for you, you don't need my permission to download it and use it however you see fit.

Thank you!

Rhody Fuqua & Cemtery Location
Hello,

I saw that you took the headstone photo for Rhody Fuqua at the Fuqua Cemetery in Stewart County, TN.

By chance could you give me a more specific location? I might be heading out to TN this summer/fall.

Thank you for posting the photo and all the work that you do. I know that so many of us really do appreciate your time.

Nancy

Matthew Cleary Sr.
Ack. In regards my earlier email, Alois Kallfelz of the Kallfelz Bros Bakery was Matthew Jr.'s grandfather, not Matthew Sr.'s. Still interesting that Sr. was a baker in the Army - wonder if at some point he was employed by the Kallfelz Bros.?

Matthew Cleary Family St. Agnes
Hi. I found Matthew Cleary Sr. in St. Agnes & uploaded a photo. He is buried with his wife and son, Matthew Jr. next to his wife's family, the Kallfelz's. There were no other Clearys I could find near them. I have added memorials for Anna & Matthew Jr. - am happy to transfer to you if you want. As for the two Cleary children, when you contact the cemetery office to get the section #, I would also ask if it was a family plot, and who else is buried there. I found an obit for their mother, Julia, but nothing for Arthur Sr. so they could all be in another area of the cemetery, or scattered. Or they could be buried in the plot, but there could be no individual headstones for them. If the weather holds up, I can take a look next weekend. (If not, it will be in spring, as St. Agnes is too dangerous to go walking around in heavy snow.)

One other thing - on Matthew Sr.'s stone it says that he when he was in the service, he was in the QC, bakery division. His grandfather, Alois Kallfelz, was one of 5 brothers who started Kallfelz Brothers Bakery, which for many years was one of the leading commercial bakeries in Syracuse. MK

Hi,

I just noticed that you sponsored my son's page. Thank you so very much! ❤

I see Cox as a name you research. My great grandparents are Cox.

Again, thank you! What an incredibly nice thing for you to do. God bless ❤

Lucy Neal Willis Balling
Lucy Neal Willis Balling is the daughter of Jessie Mead Wilks and Rhoda Catherine Hilton, as is Hattie B. and five other children. If you will send me your email address, I'll be happy to send you what I have on the Hilton line, as that's my area of interest. I have a short bio on Jessie which lists his parents, but I have not pursued the Wilks' line further back.
