I've been doing genealogy research for people since 1996. I am county coordinator for the MTGenWeb for Butte-Silver Bow County, Anaconda-Deer Lodge County, and Powell County, Montana. I am also a volunteer at the Butte-Silver Bow Archives.|
I take photos of gravesites I come across while doing Findagrave requests, and I especially like to take photos of the older headstones and markers to create a record of their existence. Many are getting so old they are not very readable. If anyone finds errors with the information I enter, I will be happy to make corrections. I will also be happy to transfer management to relatives of any of those for whom I have created memorials.
However, please do not copy my photos without first obtaining my written permission to do so. Thank you.
PLEASE NOTE: Photos posted to memorials on Find-a-Grave are copyrighted by the member who submitted the photos. Copying the photo to use elsewhere or on other Findagrave memorials (if more than one name is on the headstone) would be a violation of copyright. You must obtain written permission (emails are generally accepted) from the member to use any photo for your own use. In general if you did not take the photo yourself, you do not hold the copyright to the photo.
For anyone needing more information on their relative(s) who are buried in the Butte, I will be happy to do a search.
Requests can be emailed to me at the email address shown below.

Thank you so much for your prompt reply.
My records are that she has always lived in Madison County, MT mostly in the upper Ruby River area. She was a Boatman, and had lots of relatives in Dillon area is why I think she is possibly buried in the Dillon, Mountain View Cemetery, not Butte's. BUT her husband William Oliver Metzel did die in Butte, but I still think he would also be buried in Dillon.

Yay! Another grave marker photo from Suzanne! This one is clearing up a family feud, so thank you! thank you! thank you!
|Pamela Byers Wrenn||RE: Frank Wren|
Suzanne, Is it possible there are two Frank Wren's - one who died in 1903 and the other dying in 1920? The "Butch Kelley" name is interesting.
The Frank Wrenn I am looking for was born 1883 in Minnesota. I have no record of him after the 1885 MN census (so he may have died at a young age). His parents were living in Butte in 1935. His mother died in Butte in 1937, father in 1940. They are buried in North Dakota.
I appreciate your help and I will be doing more research as well.
