RE: Huey Chalmers Johnson
My Dad, Harold, lived in New Mexico and was divorced from my Mom when I was about 5 years old. Other than my aunt Eva, and uncle Ned, I rarely saw anyone from Dad's side of the family. About five years ago, we re-connected {Dad and I} and I've grown closer to my family in New Mexico.

I just got started looking into Dad's side of the family, and knew that wasn't right...

Thanks, Cuz!

Fitzhugh Lee Johnson
My Father, Harold Lee Johnson
My Grandfather, Fitzhugh Lee Johnson

Note: Huey Chalmers Johnson is shown as his son and his sibling. The SON is the correct relationship but I don't know how to get this changed. When I go to the listing for Uncle Chalmers, it shows him as son of Fitzhugh and sibling as well... so I keep going in circles.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot to ask. Do you remember any other Harris family around these beautiful stones? I think Robert W. Harris might be there. And then I think you already claimed that one? Anyway, I was curious to know which family members are close by one another. Again, thank you so much for your time and effort and beautiful work.

The photo you took of Lucy Thomson Harris and James E. Harris are fantastic. Such beautiful stones, and great pictures. I really appreciate your efforts. Thank you so much.

I added the photo, please change the order of the photos to reflect how you wish your memorial to look. Thanks for letting me add it. She was a great lady, gracious and amazingly ahead of her time. WYNDY

I have a photo that I took of her portrait at the Converse College in Spartanburg. It is hanging in the cafeteria which was named for her. Would you like it to post on your memorial? Just let me know. I also have the book that she wrote about her years at Converse which has a photo of her sitting at her desk in 1934, which I used to identify her. Her brother, Nathaniel Gist Gee, married my cousin, Christine South. Wyndy South

RE: James F and Lillian R Johnson
My family must be confused. None of us has ever heard the name Fitzhugh Lee Johnson. He was always Uncle Hugh. Obviously, you can confirm that is correct. Thanks. I'm not surprised; Uncle Kirk's name appears multiple ways on census records but I talked with his son Landrum last week., He says it's Kirk Wood, not Kirkwood or Kirkland. Thanks again.
