RE: Sadowsky
we also added photos for Kriegers(mae and irving) and another Sadowsky since they were in the same plot with Frances. The drought was fortunate since it helped uncover the overgrowth along with our pushing of the ivy since we are not allowed to remove anything near the graves according to cemetery rules. otherwise her grave would have been completely invisible.

RE: Heiser
No problem! I was in the cemetery looking for information for my family - and their stones are there with NO dates on them.. so it felt good to find something that might actually be helpful for someone else. :-)

RE: Warrior Run Cemetery – Leech
Hi Carol,
Find-A-Grave is not going to just remove Alice's name as she is the creator of all those memorials. She was related to every memorial that she made.

But I'm sure they will honor edit and transfer requests when someone can prove their relationship to the loved ones in the memorials. Find-A-Grave is happy to let family members manage family memorials!

Warrior Run Cemetery – Leech
Hello Carol,
I saw that you left a message for Alice LaRue, requesting her to transfer some memorials to you. I just wanted to let you know that Alice has not been online for about a year.

I have no idea what has happened to my friend as she has not responded either through this site or e-mails in a year. I'm thinking that she has either lost computer capabilities to be online or has passed away. Sadly, I fear it is the latter.

If you have put in your transfer requests through the edit button, I believe that Find A Grave will eventually honor them. It's just a time-consuming process. It may take a month or so, but the requests won’t go through just by asking in a message. They have to go through the transfer request.

I didn't want you to think that Alice was just ignoring you...

Yes, I know it was wrong and I wrote another edit note right after it. I am going to assume you did not get that either. Thank you for contacting me about it!!

RE: Leech Grave
You are welcome. I seem to have slacked off on my find-a-grave volunteer work and decided I need to get back to it.

BTW, the Lycoming County Genealogical Society, of which I am currently President, has photographed all of the cemeteries in Lycoming County. You can obtain copies of pictures from them for $1.00.

I did not look to see if you have Find-a-Grave requests in Wildwood Cemetery in Lycoming County, but your best bet is to purchase them from the Gen. Society. Wildwood now charges a flat fee of $20 just to tell us where to find someone's grave, so it's not likely volunteers will be going there anymore unless they know exactly where to locate the grave.
