James W. Dorsett Jr. currently resides in Alice, Texas. I was born in Brownsville, Texas on August 4, 1965. My father is James William Dorsett and my mother Yolanda Gonzalez Dorsett. I grew up in Brownsville, Texas. My father, sisters Aissa L. and Lola D., my mother and I left Brownsville as I was promoted to the sixth grade back in 1976. We then moved to Corpus Christi, Texas and resided there 1976-1979. We moved to Alice, Texas in 1979 and I now live there with my wife Sandra, my three children Leagh Ann, Christopher Allen, and Denisa Renee and my grandsons Max and Caleb. I graduated from Alice High School in 1983 and from Texas A&I University in Kingsville in 1987. I recently became more interested in exploring my ancestry. I am finding it quite interesting.
