I have been doing genealogy for more than 30 years. I find this site to be very helpful. Not all of the memorials I have listed are related. If I list a family member, just let me know and I will transfer it.

RE: Horn Graves, Rock Point Cemetery
My Horn line is through Mary Parker (memorial no. 36402828) not through Dillard or Millard Filmore or Charley/Charles Nick/Nicolas. Therefore I'm more interested in some kind of verification about the James Horn grave, because that would be my great-great-great-grandfather.

Horn Graves, Rock Point Cemetery
Do you know if the actual Rock Point Cemetery burial records are available? It may help positively identify the persons buried in the graves marked James Horn and "Horn Mill" (Millard Horn?). I'm asking because my father was a great-grandson of this family.

Yeah, Glen Haven is bad. They shoo away findagravers. You have to be sneaky.

RE: John Jarvis marker photo
You're very welcome! The marker was inside the locked mausoleum, but I was fortunate enough to go there on a day that the cemetery workers were there.

RE: Ethel Bosley
since you have a location for her husband, I suggest you put that on Ethel's request and see if she turns up there? The office didn't seem to take much time looking and it seems every other time I call, there's someone they can't find who turns out to be there. Unfortunately the obituaries are online until 1991 and again after 2000... with about 9 years missing in between.

You're welcome. I photoed about 1/2 the cemetery. Need to back one day before it gets cold and finish.

RE: Margaret Dawkins's photo
You're welcome! I also added pics to memorial pages of surrounding Dawkins' (Janie, Aldine & Harley...although some tree branches overshadowed them..). Hope you have a blessed day!

RE: Richard Pritt
Glad to help out here on 'Find a Grave'...I'm continuing to pick away at it by updating and entering other family members as I get information/photos...My cousin Tim Cummings, who lives nearby, took me up to the Mechanics and Miners cemetery twice over the Memorial Day 2016 weekend....I took quite a few pics while we were up there....A lot of my kin-folk are there....The Pritt family were neighbors of my Grandparents...Winters was very close to my Grandfather Ezra Halstead and my Father Harold... Winters was tragically killed in a auto crash at the base of Lens Creek Mountain ( the first curve going up towards the Boone County line on the Kanawaha County side ) ..He was on his way home from visiting Amy at the hospital...A delivery truck was coming down Lens Creek and hit a patch of black ice and went left of center and struck Winters' car pretty much head on...He died instantly...My Aunty Marge Halstead Cummings came upon the scene right after it happened. It was a very tragic and painful incident for all concerned...
