Great Lakes Naval Cemetery

I was at Great Lakes today and took a walk through the cemetery and noticed a new grave. Yes! Really!

It was for the wife of Roy Lawrence Harris, whose memorial you manage. I have created a memorial for Karen Rose Kostock Harris. She died in August of 2016 and is now buried next to Roy. I did link them as husband and wife after checking her online obituary.

I just thought you might like to know.

Dr. Lewis Willis Minor

I have posted a photo of the Confederate physician, Dr. Lewis Minor, to your Memorial #14328231. I thought you may find it of interest.

Beallsville Cemetery
Hi James,
We respectfully request permission to use the entrance photo in our personal tree. Bruce has a cousin interred there and the photo will make a great addition to our tree.

Thanks for your consideration.

Carlton Lee Monroe KIA Viet Nam
could you please recommend a local volunteer to find an obit for Carlton Lee Monroe, KIA Viet Nam, 3-26-1969.
He is buried in Chesapeake Memorial Park. I have quit a bit of additional information on him, if I was to find a local volunteer. Thank you, Dan Barlow (I was a platoonLeader/XO) for the same unit he served with)

St. Paul's Cemetery, Portsmouth, VA
Mr. Gorham,

For the last several years, I've been working closely with St. Paul's Catholic Church updating their cemetery by adding all memorials buried here. I wanted to let you know that as of June 2013, Bishop DiLorenzo decreed a name change for this cemetery. It has been changed to "All Saints Catholic Cemetery". Once the new sign is erected, I can take pictures, send them to you so you can post them. Also, there are ongoing projects of new landscaping and fencing going in. I would like to submit new pictures of that as well probably in the spring of 2014 -- unless you would like to take all the pictures. It's no problem.

According to Find a Grave's website, after October 1st I can submit a name change for this cemetery. I wanted to let you know of the name change so you didn't think your cemetery was deleted.

Hello Chief,

My first husband is the child of William Skinner and Judith Gorman. William is the son of Merle Skinner, which I thank you for giving a memorial. I was intrigued to see a Gorman handling the Skinner memorial, and I was wondering if you know more about my sons family?
