RE: James Wiley Robbins
With apologies for being so late answering your inquiry of 10/26/2012. I have been away from F.A.G. until now. I show below all I have regarding James Wesley Robbins. Yes, I know from family lore that he enlisted in the CSA along with brothers Algernon and Joseph in June, 1861, and that he walked home from the surrender in NC in April, 1865. But regretfully I do not know where he is buried. His father, ASR Sr. is buried at Mt. Gilead Methodist Cem., Ben Hill (suburb of Atlanta)

RE: William R and Margaret A Bannon
I pulled my papers and the only thing I have on Flora Mirtle(given to me by a distant cousin) was that she was born 1 Sep 1881 and was a twin to Don and that she married Edgar Cagle and they had one son Edgar Jr. No further info available. Yes Ed was my great grandfather. His son Dee Bannon was my grandfather but he died when my mother was 4 years old from a rupture appendix after cutting fire wood. I wish I had more for you.

RE: William R and Margaret A Bannon
I will have to get my papers out to see what I might mave on Flora Mirtle(Flo) Bannon. I do remember her being a twin. Her twin brother was Don Michael Bannon. William and Margaret (Moore) Bannon are buried in City Cemetery in Jonesboro Arkansas.
You might be able to help me. I have William's obituary but I thought I seen some were that he was at his daughter's house and I think it was Flora's house but I have yet been able to find it again. Their son(my great-grandfather) Edmund Bannon lived outside of Jonesboro.
Is ther any other info on the family you need? I have William's parents and grandparents.

James R. Argo
Are you related? If you are would very much like to talk to you about James.

I have a James Argo who was living in Dekalb County 1930 married to Queen. I'm wondering if this James is her husband.

Look forward to hearing from you
Happy New Year!

RE: Elizabeth Fielder
Hi Winston-
I am Christy Skinner McIntire- Irma's granddaughter. My Dad, John Chapman Skinner, is her only child.

Burial location of Hubbard Fielder- no idea. Our best guess is Arkansas- based on the year and expense of burial. He is definately not buried on the family plot is Georgia. As of today- I haven't found the names of his parents or siblings. (Please send those namesover if you have them.)

Francis Elizabeth Cagle Fielder- also called Aunt Lizzie-is my great grandmother. She lived with Grandma Irma and my Dad in Marietta until her death.

About Edgar Cagle- My Dad said he remembers mention of Edgar at family reunions. He simply vanished. I don't know if this is your Grandfather- but in the 1930 census in Fulton County North Camp Jail in Buckhead- a prisioner named Edgar Cagle is listed as Male, age 45, and married at age 29.

I found a 1920 census record that places his occupation in a butcher shop. Good news- I found an old newspaper clipping in Lizzie's bible of men in front of a butcher shop in Buckhead.

Also- I have a couple of pictures labeled Edgar. If you want these, send me your personal email address. I'm happy to send you the images.

Last- it is such a blessing to find a long lost relative. May you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!

Kind Regards,
