Greetings enthusiasts! A librarian by trade, I love research and genealogy. I am mostly interested in the Keller and Klevorn families (my mother's maiden name is Klevorn). As I come upon other people of interest, I add them also.|
I am of the opinion that cemeteries are places to honor and remember the dead; they are also places of healing and forgiveness. Our faith tells us that individuals who die in God's grace are part of the "Communion of Saints" -- to this end we need to approach this work with much reverence.
Fidelium animę, per misericordiam Dei, requiescant in pace. Amen.
All ye, who would honor
The saints and their Head,
To pray for the dead;
And they in return,
From their misery freed,
To you will be friends
In the hour of need.

Thank you for your time Steven. I thought, & if I didn't-I apologies, but I thought I had requested a photo of the lot or location. The cemetery office gave me their location as in Lot 91, Charles in grave N/2, but she couldn't find any markers at that time. The woman I talked with said she was heading out that way & would look & call me back. So as I look at my notes there are no markers that she could find either. I appreciate you answering my request & wish you well. Have a great weekend. Take care & God bless.

Thank you so much for your work in remembering our brothers and sisters, including Mother Cora Shaw, a distant cousin, who worked so hard on behalf of others. Your are blessing those who blessed so many others.
It is especially poignant because many of them left no descendants to keep them in memory, but your good work is.
Hi Steven, I was just doing some family research, and one of the pictures you added was super helpful to connect a family. Thanks for all you do! CG

Good work finding her. The Vaughans truly were a remarkable family.
Stay well, Chris

Can't really help as pretty much all I know is on the memorial. Much of what I had came from our Australian director, Roger Porteous, who unfortunately passed 4 years ago. (I'm in Canada.)

I will be happy to look in the plots at Calvary Cemetery. I'm sure we'll be there for the holidays. My wife's Aunt was an SHCJ nun and is buried there.
God bless & Merry Christmas.

Hi Steven, feel free to upload the photos to Find A Grave. I think this is their only plot in Karori Cemetery, but if I come across any others I'll send them on to you.
