"Do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and your children's children." - Deuteronomy 4:9

I feel Dead People - Our son and several of his children see Dead People. While in Mt Lebanon cemetery our Granddaughter at age 3 ran up and hugged a stone expressing excitingly; "my friend, my friend!"
Just think, a 3 year old can't read, but she ran straight to this particular stone.

Updates to Transfer Guidelines
Memorials are transferred for relatives with these close relationships: child, spouse/partner, sibling, parent, grandchild, great-grandchild, grandparent, great-grandparent, niece/nephew, great niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, great aunt/uncle, or first cousin. This would include adoptive, step, and in-law versions of these relationships. Please show sensitivity to immediate and extended family members and their requests. (Find A Grave)

Transfers do not have to be within the find a grave guidelines. Just ask.
Please DO NOT have CENOTAPH memorials merged. There are two identical stones in two cemeteries.

I would like to thank all of you who go out of your way to take photos and submit edits. This is a team effort. I will continue to do my best to comply with your request and provide correct information.

I see many contributors who have removed their message feature from their bios because of nasty messages. God made us all different. We do not look alike, move alike, think alike, act alike or perceive the world in the same way. The need to control the work of others on this site leads to many nasty messages and the refusal to add your information or transfer your Aunts or Uncles. This behavior causes you frustration and negative feelings, even out right anger. When this happens, I use the Serenity Prayer.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Please do not request changes to punctuation or ask for a middle name of unknown to be added to an infant or any memorial for that matter. This is aggravating and unnecessary, a waste of my time and yours.

Adding to the Northwest Louisiana area - Bienville, Natchitoches, Red River and Webster Parishes.

A period ( . ) is a form of punctuation used to end a declarative sentence. Periods are frequently, but not always used, after initials and with two-letter abbreviations (U.S.).
Since many people are referred to by their initials as nicknames in dialog, the periods would be eliminated.

"The Heritage Of The Past Is The Seed That Brings Forth The Harvest Of The Future"

I want to thank all who are helping with the unfinished memorials taken over for the fallen graver Robert Whitehead and others.
