|Chris||RE: Duplicate Herbert Wahl in Wilson Co., Texas|
I don't think there is an automated method for merging duplicate memorials, but there seem to be at least two ways of reconciling such a situation:
1. The fist approach involves one owner contacting the other owner, and gaining agreement about which one can be deleted. If there are photos or notes of value on each, then some of these need be moved over to the remaining memorial. Preference is usually given to the memorial that is earliest and/or has the most information (photos, family links, etc.).
2. In some cases, the 2nd owner does not respond at all, or respond favorably, to a request to reconcile the duplicates. In this case, the question can be submitted to Find A Grave administration. In this situation, Find A Grave determines which information gets merged.

This lady was daughter of Henry Prentice Redfield and Sarah Card. They had a daughter, Louisa, born in 1855 and she died the same year. They had another daughter and named her Louisa as well. She was born in 1857. She married William Byron Smith in 1880, and died in 1930.
I have transfered the memorials of the brothers to you.

I've run on to some of your memorials through researching my family and you have some memorials of people related to me by marriage. I wanted to tell you what a wonderful job you're doing and how important it is, as I'm sure you know. Thank you. From a fellow Texan, Nancy
Sad. Thanks for your help with that.

There is a McKinney Cemetery on Find A Grave but it has different people in it. that is why I named this cemetery the McKinney Family Cemetery. I think the man that created the first cemetery never actually went to the cemetery. I think he had family that he didn't know where to place and just placed them there. I have been going to that cemetery for 50 years. All of my family is buried there and in the Lann cemetery just a few 100 yards up the road. I have pictures of the cemetery and of the headstones. Samuel Spencer Howell and Sarah Rebecca McKinney Howell are my great-grand parents and Josiah McInnish McKinney and Mary Lann McKinney are my great great-grand parents.
Don't know all about the John Kitchens marrying James Lann's widow. Will be interesting to check that one out. Will let you know what I find. Thanks for the info

Samuel Spencer and Sarah Rebecca McKinney Howell are my great grandparents and I have been going to their cemetery since a was a child and I have wondered why no one had them on Find a Grave. So I added the cemetery and put their gravesites on there. I love it. It is sort of paying respect for them. I think that is the only picture of them that I have but if I find more, I will post them
