My grandmother started this page, she is now incapable of continuing. I will be glad to update any information as needed.|
Please if you want me to change some information do it through the edit tab. It is much easier then searching for the memorials by name.
If you want transfers please send me an individual request for each memorial. I will not hunt for sisters and brothers.
Thanks, mstarrc (48043349)
I retired in June 2006 and boy, is that boring!
I started doing my family's genealogy to pass the
time and stumbled across findagrave.com, finding
some of my relatives listed. So, I thought, great! This will give me something to do to
wile away the hours, so I started going to the
cemeteries and taking pics of the headstones and
posting them on Fag.com. It helps other people find their "departed" friends and relatives.
I'm sure I make more than my share of mistakes and welcome any corrections and/or additions.

Please remove the original photo taken by ILUVLU in 2008, as the Eldridge family buried the cremated remains of Joseph's daughter, Joan Bunch Eldridge , beside him in 2016.
Thanks for all that you have done!

|Wayne Powell||Amy Sallada|
I received the following request from Shirley Williams re Elija Calkin:
"The post indicates no information for one of the children, Julia Ann, Julia Calkin or Calkins was my great-grandmother. She died in 1942 at the age of 103 in Henderson Colorado. She is buried at the Elmwood Cemetary in Brighton Colorado next to her daughter, Amy Sallada and her son-in-law Sidney Sallada, my grandparents. Thank you."
I have no Calkin connection to the Salladas, so I can't add her. I have the Calkin tree but I can't connect the Calkins to the Salladas. Can you help her by adding her great-grandmother?

Ernest Henry (Heinrich) Berndt
Hello: We have a duplicate file for Ernest Henry Berndt in Oakhill cemetery Lake Geneva Wisconsin. Ernest was my great-grandfather and I have added info plus connected his son and the rest of the family to the file I created (not noticing that you had already created one). Can you please delete the file you created so there is only one for Ernest. I have all the correct spellings and family info on my file. Thanks Chuck Berndt Mchenry Illinois

|Polly B||Henry Ballance (c. 1775-1838)|
My husband, Lyle Ballance, is a descendant of Henry R. Ballance, who died in Logan County in 1838. We believe he may have moved to the Russellville area from Norfolk, VA, sometime around 1811; he was enumerated in the Russellville US Fed Census in 1820 and 1830. We do not know who his parents were or where he is buried, but we suspect he may be buried in the Ballance Cemetery near Adairville. I recently suggested an edit to your Find A Grave entry for a Henry G, which I suspect could be Henry B(allance). We are planning to visit Russellville and the cemetery in late September and have been in touch with Lee Thompson at the Logan Archives. If you have any suggestions for us, we'd appreciate it a lot. Thank you so much for the wonderful work you do as an Find A Grave volunteer!
