Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and grew up just east of there in the small town of Murrysville. Through Army, college, and company transfers, I've retired to East Texas.

I was married to Janet Marie (Vogel) Hartley ,and have three children, Tim, Todd & Kari.

My genealogy interests are (Paternal): Hartley, Headlee(ey), Gass (my stone wall), Fordyce, Lemley, Shriver, Barrickman, Jones, Cunningham and Prickett. (Maternal): Green, Knox, Jackson, Scott (England), Heacox, Barton and Hawley.
I'm willing to take photos for anyone in and around the Tyler, Texas area. I would like to thank those that have taken photos for me. I've "met" some great friends that way.

Please email me with any additions and/or corrections and I'll gladly update.

Please note: Many thanks to Carolina Angel for sponsoring my wife's memorial page.

A very special thank you to my friend Diane Miller for sponsoring my great grandparents, Joseph & Margaret (Scott) Green and Albert Henry Knox. Please visit Diane's family.

Patty
Tangeman,
Elizabeth and her husband and son.
They were cremated and the ashes were never picked
up from the Green Lawn. Elizabeth's ashes are still there. Both Richard's were taken by the Missing in America Project and were interned in niches at the Dayton Nation Cemetery Dayton Ohio.
Richard Sr.'s death date is wrong on his name plate.
I am going to send all information to Dayton to see if they will make a correction.

RE: Richard Tangeman
I am no relation.
I claimed these memorial pictures because there is a problem and I started working on it. Yes the Richard's are in Dayton. The "Missing in America Project" helped get them out of storage into Niches at Dayton National Cemetery. The problem is that the date is wrong on Richard 1970. I have contacted Green Lawn, Dayton, and am waiting on reply from "Missing in America Project". That date need to be corrected. Do You know of any family. They want a next of kin. I believe that Elizabeth may still be in storage. A family member came after the Columbus Dispatch July 1 2015 article came out. Where he took Elizabeth's ashes will have to be check out. I will try to keep you informed pleas leave the requests on.

Glen Barton
Barton Cemetery
Olin, you have requests for pictures from the Barton family cemetery. This is my family cemetery. Burnham Barton, son of Conrad was my great grandfather. My brothers and I found the cemetery today after 2 days of searching and talking with many local relatives and were able to get some pictures. The coordinates on this site are about a mile and a half off course. When I get back to DC I will upload and send you some pictures. How are you related to the Barton family?

RE: Carl Brazel Hartley
It was my pleasure. My 12-year-old daughter was the one who found Mr. Hartley's grave. So thank you for helping me pique her interest in exploring cemeteries.

Best wishes,

Suzie

Hartley, Helen @ Evergreen Memorial Gardens
Photo volunteer Ayconthego (#49308712) has posted on 08-02-17 that this person is not listed at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
I would recommend calling the cemetery at 360-892-6060 an inquiring. I have also messaged the manager of this memorial to research and update as well.
Please research where they Helen is actually buried and then you will be able to re-request your photo.
Thx
