Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Carol and I reside in N.E. Atlanta.

My Dad began this amazing journey in finding our heritage. While on this journey we had discovered so many relatives and friends.

Peternal Lineage ...

Hape ~ Rogers ~ Puderbach ~ Putnam ~ Gibbs ~ Hall ~ Naill ~ Ecker ~ Engel ~ Reifsnider ~ King ~ Robbins ~ Thompson ...

Maternal Lineage ...

Hunt ~ Edwards ~ Harris ~ Brown ~ Clay ~ Simmons ~ Wingate ~ Maddox/Maddux ~ Knott ~ LeSueur ~ Stinson ~ Hopper ~ Bryant ~ Harper ~ Wyatt ~ Tyler ~ Strother ~ Shy/Shi ~ Chastain ~ Hancock ~ Batte ~ Birchett/Burchett ~ Judkins ~ Polk ~ McLarty ~ Eidson ~ Daniell ...

Most of these memorials are based on personal research from my family history (birth, death, marriage, military & other records). Other information was taken from grave markers or obituaries that I've discovered over the years. Cannot guarantee the accuracy of all these memorials, but believe most of them to be correct.

Will be glad to make memorial transfers upon request that is if related. Would very much like to hear from you and should you have any additional information and if there are any corrections to be made, please let me know.

Thomas Joyner's Grave
Hi Carol: I see you indicated several years ago that Thomas Joyner is buried at St. Luke's in Isle of Wight Co. Would you please share your documentation for this? I have been to the church many times, but didn't know of his gravesite. Thomas is my 8th Great Grandfather and I grew up in Isle of Wight. A few years ago I visited Bere Regis, Dorset Co.,England, where Thomas' father Thomas ran the Royal Oak Inn. It is still in operation and we stayed there with Joyner ghosts and all! Please email me at sbrudin@verizon.net
Thanks so much. Shirley Boyette

RE: Love Mary Photo
Sarah Jane LeSueur Crawley (1852-1936) and James Asbury Crawley (1824-1894) had seven children. My grandmother, Sarah Ellen Crawley Harris (1880-1967), was their forth child. My mother was Sarah Earlene Harris Stormant (1919-1993). Therefore, Stormant is my last name.

Considering the above, I think Polly Dixon is a second cousin.

Thank you for responding to our request. Hope we can identify the photo.

Love Mary Photo
Georgia Girl,

We have a photo that came from my great-grandmother Sarah Jane LeSueur Crawley. The photo is signed "Love - Mary". Our best guess is that it is a photo of Mary "Loudie" Hunt Wyatt. We need assistance to identify the subject in the photo. Do you have an address that we can send the photo?

Hope you can help.

Hi, I was looking at the wonderful work you and your father have done on all the research. Could you please tell me where I could find more about the Owen family (74802882) is just one of them.
Thank you for your help.

Jack Simmons
John Simmons Sr.
This article talks about the three John Simmons. In the foot note 5, it mentions the John with no will deeded his property to the kids you have listed as John Simmons Sr. second family. I'll keep working it from the Virginia end and get back to you. That alone shows that the Adam Simmons listed in the article isn't John Sr.'s Adam.

I think John Sr.'s early children never made it south to GA.

Margaret Elizabeth Young
Hello, Carol,
First, my sincere appreciation for the many, many cemetery records which you have posted. We share several surnames [Rogers, Harris, etc.} and your entries have been most helpful.
I am most curious regarding your source of information regarding the name listed above--wife of my ancestor, Jonathan Musick. When I searched for their marriage record several years ago in Rutherford, I found the record and date, but there was no name listed for the bride.
Along with other Musick researchers, both Young and Margaret Marr have been thought to be possible surnames, so I'd be delighted if you have a definite source of her name.
Many thanks for your help,
Gerry

RE: Burton Family
Is there anyone who would be willing to talk to me about the Burtons? I have run across such conflicting information. Is there anyone who would be willing to look at my tree on ancestry, and let me know if I am on the right track? Any help would be most appreciated.

My tree is "Pickrell and Bolding Family Tree". They can contact me there where it is not so public.

Best regards,

Scoti
