Born in Savannah, Georgia (1956). Always lived in the Savannah area. Eagle Scout. Member of the Air National Guard since 1979. (Deployed to Germany, Norway, Bahamas, Kuwait, Iraq..)I enjoy tracing family history, not just the lineage of my last name. I'm impressed by how small the world seems when you start uncovering the interconnections of people through past generations. Here's a neat little tidbit of information: My children descended (on their mom's side)from the grandfather of President Eisenhower.|

Will you please remove the photo of the cemetery from this memorial. You are suppose to add it to the main cemetery page. When that is done, then we have the ability to delete it from our memorials, if we chose to do so. I have no option to delete this one. Only you can remove it.
Thank you for your help.

|Julie Willard||Walthourville Presbyterian Cemetery|
I was wondering if you happen to have any history or know where I can find a deatiled history report on the Walthourville Presbyterian Cemetery. Rumors have it that there are 3 witches buried there but I can't seem to find any information on the gravesite. Thank you

Hi, I'd like to ask your permission to use your above named cemetery photo on my tree at Ancestry for one of my relatives who is buried there. I will be happy to give you credit. Thanks very much.
|Barbara Smith Heine||RE: John Ward|
Thanks for checking. There was a report this morning on the Today Show about the Milledgeville State Hospital. John's wife died there, and I did come across a listing from there, which did have a John Ward on it. It's entirely possible that they both are buried there.
I appreciate your having taken the time.
|Ann Parkinson||Burgsteiners in Springfield Cem|
thank you for the lovely photo for the Springfield Cemetery. I noticed Find A Grave has two Springfield Cemeteries listed in Effingham county. A friend sent the following info.
Can you tell me which cemetery this information is referred?
From "Effingham County Cemeteries"
Springfield Cemetery, adjacent to Springfield United Methodist Church, Oak and Cleveland Sts, Springfield, Effingham County, Ga.
Thank you for any help you may offer.
It was my pleasure. I am glad that I was able to help. If there is anything else, please let me know.
Pennington Gap, Va.
