|Born: 1953 |
Husband: William Oscar Taylor Jr.
My husband and I were raised in Sylvania, Screven County, Georgia. We moved to Savannah, Georgia in 1972 due to my husband's job. We raised three children in Chatham County, Georgia and have six grand children.
I am researching all branches of my family tree and my husband's tree. There is quite a lot of branches to research primarily in Georgia. Some of the branches include:
Beard, Bazemore, Lariscy, Fries, Bragg, Counts, Edenfield, Taylor, Jenkins, Cuthbert
We often visit many of cemeteries in Screven County and surrounding counties. They are always a quite and peaceful places to visit.

|Ida Durden||Minnie Lee Capps Bazemore|
Long time to correspond. Hope life is treating you well. Still researching family history,going to be life time project. Could you help me please. Minnie Lee Capps' headstone has Bazemore for last name. I cannot find where or who she married. I am discovering that Capps are connected to me and on my husband's side of family through our DNA. Of course, you know the Bazemore's are deep in the Mock side.
Hopeful to hear from you,
Ida Mock Durden

|Jon Heatley||Joel T Jackson|
I saw you left flowers on Joel T Jackson. He was apparently the father of an Annis or Alice Rebecca Jackson who married a John M Smoak and they had a daughter named Leila Emma Smoak. I guess she'd be my great great grandmother? (not sure 100) anyway there was ambiguity in my family "folklore" of Leila Smoak's ethnicity and was wondering if you knew anything of the jacksons heritage or just information? I was told that Leila Smoak was full blood Creek Native American which I could never understand so I started to research and Smoak is actually a German name and can be traced back to germany. I just wanted to clear up some stuff so was wondering your connection to joel t jackson? Thanks.
