Find A grave, for me, is about honoring the persons we create memorials for. It should NOT just be a NUMBERS GAME.

PLEASE READ THE FAQ pages at Find A Grave I will no longer take action on requests sent to me any way other than using the edit button on memorials I have entered. I will be happy to honor requests done in this manner if they fall within the FAG guidelines.

RE: Smith-Jenkins Cemetery
I believe Nannie Reed Smith was my great-grandmother. Two of her children, Donnie and Lula Belle Smith, may, also, be buried in this cemetery. If you have any history of the Reed and Smith families, I would very much like to know more. Thank you.

As I understand only immediate kin can make the request for the headstone. The only other option is if the local VFW or American Legion get involved and they can get a headstone.
