Hi fellow researchers of your ancestors on this great site, Find A Grave. I really enjoy adding information about my people and anyone else's info they would like to add to the cemeteries that I have canvassed. Genealogy is a great passion of mine and is so rewarding when you find that long lost relative that has been so elusive. I have many of those that I am searching for. I am more than happy to transfer a memorial to a relative, unless they are part of my family.|
ANDREWS, BROWN, CHEANEY, DANIELS, DISHMAN, DOLLAR, ETHRIDGE, FULKS, HOLT, HUFFMAN (HOFFMAN, HOOFMAN), JOHNSON, MALOY, MATTHEWS, MESSER, MESSICK, MUSICK, PRATER, PRATT, RANKIN, RANKINS, RICHARDSON, ROACH, ROLLINS, SHORES, SWIFT, WEBB, WHITWORTH, WILMOTH, WILLIAMS and many many more......

Sandy, My dad worked at the penitentiary at McAlester for several years and my brother was born there. I had 3 unfilled photo request for that cemetery for nearly 3 years. They were near kin and I had to make a trip to Idabel last weekend. I would be going within 40 miles of the cemetery, so I just went there myself. There were 56 photo requests. I alphabetized them and went to every one of the 1,657 graves. It took nearly 3 hours the way I did it. The fire ants are really bad at that cemetery. Their nests get dirt on the edges of the headstones and when you scrape it off to read the stone, they come out by the thousands. I only got bit once though. Charles

Disregard the previous message - I did some more digging after I asked you and I think you are correct. I have amended my records. Thank you for having this on here so that I could correct my files!

Christopher Columbus Dishman
How certain are you that these are his parents?
James Alexander Dishman (1820 - 1872)
Isabella G Lackey Dishman (1818 - 1876)
I have another set of parents as do several other researchers:
Burrell Tremont Dishman
Nancy E. (or E.) Upchurch
Thank you - always looking to solve a mystery! :-)

Hi Sandy - Thanks for posting the memorial to Alice Temple Horton. She was sister to my g-g-grandfather, William Burwell Temple. Their parents were Troy Turner and Judah Temple (See census: Year: 1860; Census Place: Beat 2, Henderson, Texas; Roll: M653_1297; Page: 38; Image: 84). The Henderson County Marriage Book in the courthouse at Athens, TX shows that she married Joseph Horton on 22 Jan. 1874.
I have lots more information on this branch of the Temple Family if you're interested.
Regards, Charley Temple
|Linda Crawford||Inez Lawler|
You said if anyone had information on Inez, to let you know. I just found her death certificate under the name of Inez Lawler Price, born 25 Apr 1898, Texas, and died 21 Apr 1979 in Fort Worth, Tarrant, TX. The home address is the same as Thomas' death certificate. According to the DC her parents are Henry Eugene Haden and Lula Dickey.

My name is Patricia (Tricia) Biswell. I am the daughter of Wynema Lucille Beshear Biswell. I have been curious of my mothers family history & decided to google my grandmothers name & a picture of my grandparents Ruby (Pratt) & Troy Beshear appeared. I am not certain of our relationship but it seems obvious we are related. Interested to learn more...
|Sammy (Enfinger) Hawkins||Browns in Dale County, AL|
Hey, do you have any info on Nancy Jane (Brown) Einfinger/Infinger living in Dale County in the 1850 and 1860 Census? She was married to Henry Enfinger/Infinger and had at least 6 children: Lavina, Thomas, Hesey and Hamilton. Hamilton married, Martha Jane Brown, the daughter of Lewis Brown, Jr. and Martha Jane Benefield. They had one son, Noah Enfinger. Hamilton died in the Civil War and was captured by the Yankees. Thanks for any info.

Sandy, my Whitworth's as far as I can trace come from Abraham Whitworth who was in 1826 Lawrence County, TN. I am descended from his son Abraham born 1817 in TN.
