Jane McIver Photo Request
Yes, that is the same person, Kay. The G.L. McIven [McIver]in charge was her oldest living son at the time of her death (Gilbert Leslie McIver).

FYI. I see you have also claimed Merritt & Angeline Madison. Thank you. Here is some addition information:

Angeline Doel Madison and Jane Doel McIver are sisters. They married two brothers, Merritt Madison and John Madison McIver. (John took his adopted name.) I mention this only because it might be a clue if Jane's grave is located.

Angeline's obituaries in both Livermore newspapers at the time indicate that she was buried at the "Masonic Cemetery" in Livermore.

I am pleased that you claimed my request. Good Luck!

Bojas Oksner
Thank you, Kay, for your efforts and the lookup on the WWI draft registration. The other Oksner in St. Louis is mine also. Bojas was my father-in-law. He immigrated from Lodz, Poland in 1909 at age 12, ended up in St. Louis with rest of family. He died in the VA Hospital, Livermore, CA at age 101, the oldest and only WWI veteran there at the time.

Kay,

Thank you very much for taking the picture of my uncle's gravestone. I was just telling my Aunt(Cyril's sister)this weekend that I had made a request for someone to take the picture of his gravemaker. We live in the East and it would be very difficult to make it to CA to visit his grave and my aunt is in her late eighties so next to impossible for her. Thank you again.
