|Got interested in this in trying to research our family tree after my Dad died and found out no one knew too much about my father's mother's side. Now I find I spend most of my spare time tromping around Western NY cemeteries, looking for my ancestors, REDDEN, GRIFFEN, WOLCOTT,KEENAN, KING, DURFEE, HAND, BROOKS, ALLEN and HARVEY. |
If I've entered someone in your family I would be glad to add info or transfer them to you. If you request a transfer please state your relationship to the deceased. And please excuse any errors I may have made and contact me for a correction. Be sure to put FAG in the subject line so I don't delete your e-mail.Hope I can help someone.

There is a double stone for George Couture and his wife Alpha May Ostrum. Her name comes up in the index when Couture is googled but his name does not, although it is visible with dates, on the picture of the stone. Is there some explanation for this? Thanks for all the good work. S.

There is a duplicate of this person: Memorial # 97410484 which has more content. May want to delete yours to avoid confusion and because there are 2024 Ayers entries for New York alone, over 34,000 on Find A Grave.
I have Ayers in my line.

I want to thank you for taking the time to care enough to create a memorial for my uncle and find a fairly thorough account of his family. I would love to link his profile to my grandmother's, his mother. He Memorial # is 53175695. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for the transfers from Castile. I appreciate it.

I noticed on Ziba Barney, Jrs. page that you had an I. Barney listed as his brother. The I. should be a J. for Joshua Barney. I know that's what the stone is engraved with, but I thought that a note correcting the error might be nice. Both of them were in the 130th Regiment of NY Volunteers.

She was my aunt. My father was Lloyd Rissinger who was born after her and was one of her younger brothers. I have heard the Redden name through the years.
