I wondered where you acquired a picture of Thomas Catlett. His brother David Catlett (1836-1907) was my great grandfather, and also a member of the 21st Ohio O.V.I., and is buried in the Dayton National Cemetery. I have no pictures of him, and wondered if you had access to any.

While searching for the headstone for John D. Reed (#61734767) and his wife Blanche U. Reed (#50937103), I noticed on the back of their headstone a name for their son. John M. Reed. This is a memorial for there son lost at sea. John Reed did not have a memorial page on F-A-G, so I made him one. (#163942153) I also added two photos.
You have placed John Reed's photo on his father's memorial page, with a short story about what happen to his son. I would like for you to move that photo to John's new memorial page. I would like to copy and paste the information below the photo in John's Bio. I will give you credit for the photo and the info.
After the photo is moved and the info is in place, I would like you to delete the photo from his father's page. Please put the photo on the correct page. Thank you.

Hi Robert - sorry so long in getting back to you. I had considered letting you keep it and just sending the info I have on him, but there is so much to go back and forth with. So if I can still have the transfer, I would appreciate it. I will keep the military as you have it. Yes, I am related to all of the Schoonovers there. Emmet's grandfather, Abraham Schoonover, was the brother of my ggg grandfather. Also, Abraham was the guardian of his nephew, my gg grandfather Schoonover, who lived in Hancock for some time. Thanks.

Rob-I'm from Findlay, too. My gr-gr-grandfather was in the 21st OVI Co E at that battle and was captured by the confederates. My wife & I went to that 150th anniversary. Met the guy who wrote the new book about that unit. He took us on a personal tour of the battlefield on Sunday, explaining where they started, moved to & ended up. So on Monday, Dec. 31, 2102, at 7:30 AM, I stood on the exact same ground, at the exact same hour, 150 years to the day, that 19 yr-old Daniel Richert was being shot at. It took away my breath and made my knees buckle...GLF

Rob-Yes. I've two. One with the writing on back saying he was killed at the battle of Stones River. One blank on back. Not ready to sell yet. Gary

This has to be a son of Rebecca W (Watson)and William H Tong. The memorial states that this William H Tong was almost 19 years old. Hence he would have been born around 1811.

Have just made the transfer for Belizur Beach (and also transferred his wife, Rachel). Glad to have them with someone who can add to their memorials. Thanks.

I just noticed all of the great information you added in the caption of the photo you posted. I have added a note in the memorial suggesting that the reader may want to take a look. :-)
Thanks so much.

Hi, I would love to add this headstone photo and the information of his education to my family tree on Ancestry.com with the photo credit to you of course. Please let me know if you object to this or to let me know how you would prefer the photo credit worded. If I do not hear from you , I will assume it is okay to use it. Thanks so much.
