Mention is made of the Indian fight in which Bud English was killed in Frontier Times magazine; December 1938; Early Days in the Brush Country which was reprinted from the Uvalde Leader-News and written by Jake English. I can send you a pdf of the story if you are interested.

Good evening . I saw where you posted on Marion Miles Scott's tombstone..How are you related? Marion was my great-grandfather. My grandmother was Vada Ovell...My mother was Vada's youngest child..I was born and raised in Plainville. My parents are buried within 50 ft of Fannie and Marion's grave..I love finding cousins..
Have a blessed day!!

Judy, I noticed you have Ransom as your uncle. Do you have a tree on Ancestry. My daughters are in his lineage. The page on Find-A-Grave that you commented on has an error that's not been corrected. Ransom's first wife is the mother of Andrew Tullis/Tullos. Her name - Eliza Runnels
|Lynda morton Kish||Mary Scott|
Judy thank you so so much for the photograph. Do you know if William Scott her husband is buried here also? She is my great, great, great grandmother' Do you have any information on this grave other than her daughter is Mary Pelina McCool who is buried here also. unless I uncover any additional information I have reached a dead end
|Lynda White||Melilssa Yarborough Herod|
Hi Judy, I hope you are well. It has been some time since we have talked. As you may remember my husband Robert is the g g grandson of Melissa Yarborough Herod. I know Robert would qualify for the decedents of the Battle of San Jacinto, and possibly for the Sons of the Republic of Texas.
I have gotten an application for the Sons of The Republic and have started gathering proof documents for that. I am having trouble getting in touch with someone from the Battle of San Jacinto. When I go to their website my computer will not let me click on any of their contact people. We would be very grateful for your help.
