If you want to use my pictures in your family research files or whatever it is fine with me.

I am a direct descendant of the Richard Haines who left England aboard the ship "Amity" in 1682. He died on the ship and his wife and kids settled in NJ. Richard was my 6th Great Grandfather. There are a lot of Haines in the US from this Richard. Nathan Haines of OH was my Gr Grandfather. Ebenezer Haines who married Rebecca Berry was his father. Nathan Haines married Sarah Iiams in Grant Co., IN. I have also done a lot of research on the Iiams name. My Grandfather E. Morton Haines was born in Grant Co., IN in 1865 and moved to OR in 1892 where he lived out his life. I have a lot of family connections to Grant Co., IN.

I appreciate all your help and the outstanding photos, captions and news accounts for these two victims of the Vanport flood. I'm looking into starting a fundraiser to purchase markers for them sometime in the future. Thanks again!

Crestview section photos
Nathan, Back in 2012 when I transcribed and set up memorials for all the people buried in the Crestview section of Lincoln Memorial, I tried to search the internet for information on each of them. (I think the memorials look a bit sad if all they have is a name and dates.) There were about a dozen that really touched my heart and I always wanted to add photos for them, but my camera was broken and I never was able to finish that.
Thank you so much for taking these photos. You are truly the best photo volunteer on Findagrave. You did a beautiful job, and I was especially pleased with the double memorial photos for the Collier brothers and Mr. Copeland and his young son. I greatly appreciate your help in photographing and completing these memorials.

Warm Regards, Juelette Fadness

NATHAN Thank you so very much for taking the tombstone pictures of my husband's Great Aunt her husband and son.

What a treasure you are in not only taking the time, but taking and going that extra mile in clearing the tombstone for us. This means so much to us cuz now we have exactly where they are buried since we live in Michigan.

God Bless you 10 times fold for your thoughtfulness
