Col. William Williams Searcy
I would like to request that you change the name on William Searcy's bio to William Williams Searcy rather than William Washington Searcy.

I have a copy of a letter from Oliver Searcy, son of William Williams Searcy, Jr., to his niece, Mrs. George (Kittie) West, stating that his father's name was William Williams Searcy. I also have a copy of a statement from the Custodian of the Hallettsville City Cemetery discussing the grave of William Williams Searcy, Jr. and his wife, Catherine Marshall. I can furnish copies to you upon request.

Good Day Ms. Carol,

Respectfully, would you consider removing the tombstone pics from my Uncle Leonard Bevna Bostick's grave? I was able to visit his grave for the first time on July 4, and have taken photos I would like to post, but I cannot due to the limit. His memorial number is 81535725. I thank you for considering my request, and I thank you for posting them years ago to begin with!

Thank you & God bless,

Kimberly Bostick Collier

RE: Orrin Frisbey photo
Thank you! I have it corrected on Langdon Road now too, so hopefully everyone's got the right photo with the right guy now :)

Orrin Frisbey photo
Hi, The photo you have for Orrin Frisbey is actually not him, but a cousin of his, Russell Hubbard Mallory. I submitted the photo that you copied from Langdon Road and I originally thought it was Orrin Frisbey, but afterward, a cousin from that side of the family who had the exact same photo, corrected me. So if you would kindly remove the photo so that nobody else downloads it and attributes it to Orrin, I would appreciate it.

RE: Merge
Thanks, but unfortunately I don't manage the other memorial. I left a message to the other manager.

RE: Merge
Good question, I hoped you knew. I've done it the hard way by one person copying the other's information and the other one deleting theirs. I assume there is an easier way though. If you find out an easy way, I hope you let me know. I have some memorials I need to merge too.
Good luck,

Photo for Memorial #85282344

I noticed that you have a civil war photo for Jas A Rhea attached to James Alvin Rhea, memorial #85282344, but I suspect that it may actually be a photo of James A. Rhea, memorial #62404377. According to S. A. Cunningham, ed., Confederate Veteran, vol. 15 (Nashville: 1907), p. 359, 1st Lt. James A. Rhea of Co. G, 19th TN, CSA, relocated to Montgomery, AL, after the war and practiced law until his death in 1871. This information appears to have been provided by Mr. Rhea's brother. also has a scan of a notecard from the Military Order of the Stars and Bars similarly describing this career; it indicates that Lt. Rhea's middle name was actually Alexander.
