I appreciate everyone who has emailed me thanking me for locating the graves of their relatives/ancestors.|
Recently, I have had increasing requests to place newspaper obits on my memorials. I have contacted Findagrave to ask them their policy about this. They replied that I should obtain permission from the copyright holder of the obits before adding them to my memorials. So, in order to fully abide by Findagrave's rules, I will no longer be adding newspaper obits to my memorials. Please contact Findagrave if you have any questions. Thank you.

|Marilynn ||RE: Maggie Bristow?|
It would be nice if you could transfer her to me. Her sister Mary Ellen McEvilly Bristow is my Great Grandmother. Yes she is Margaret Elizabeth McEvilly. When I work on the McEvilly and Bristow files I get the names mixed up sometimes

I'm adding locations for all the surnames in my tree. Goodman is one of them.

And sometimes its just confusing (and inconsistent)! Some of these old records baffle me. Thanks for checking. :-)

Hello there. I was looking at her death certificate (Kentucky Death Records 1852-1964; Film #7016174. It lists 8 Feb 1858 as being her date of birth. I guess it could be wrong, but it was reported by her husband Charles.
I've encountered quite a few markers in St. Louis that were made years following the deaths that had incorrect dates (sometimes the stones were placed 10-20 years or more after death by family members).

Yes I would maintain the above memorial. Also can I create memorials for all of my family members buried at St. Louis Cemetery?

Thank you for your quick and informative reply to my message.
I also want to thank you for all the hard and tedious work you have done for Find A Grave. Folks like you have saved numerous people like me that do family ancestry search a lot of time and in some cases furnishing information that we would have never found on our own.

I am the great great grandson of Lawrence Fahey Find A Grave #110514882. This Lawrence Fahey and family are buried in St. Louis Cemetery. I have proof of lot numbers and plot locations. The information on the Find A Grave web site at St. Louis Cemetery is correct and I am the sponsor.
Somehow his wife, children and birth/death dates have been incorrectly listed on a St. Johns Cemetery Find a Grave web site. According to the Catholic Cemetery Office at Calvary Cemetery there are two Lawrence Faheys and one Bridget Fahey buried at St. Johns but their birth/death dates do not match. Before my in depth research I mistakenly sponsored that site also.
The St. Johns site needs to be removed from Find A Grave as it is totally incorrect.
Thanks, Pat Fahey

Hi there and thank you for the memorial. The easiest way to find the plot info is to go to Cave Hill's website, www.cavehillcemetery.com and there is a search near the bottom of the page. It's a wonderful tool and there is also a place to click to show you where on a map the grave is located.
