Lots of information about our family was on the verge of being lost, so I began researching both my and my husband's extended families plus families from the small towns we both came from. |
Family connections expanded. I received much material for the Dare/Twitty/Baker family from Dare researcher M.Doris Provart Gower, who graciously agreed to my sharing with you. Darnell-Hollaway/ Holloway family got help from Evah Hollaway Lager Picard, Grace Norris Hollaway and Lee Ann Hollaway Bailleu.
The Zahn/Brand/Schneider Kukuck & Voigt family was assisted by Talisman Temple Barbosa, Mary Farley Cummins and David Peipho. The Steinberg/ Koerner family has research from cousins Don & Janet Dickason, Lois Steinberg Adams and Ruth Koerner McCabe.
The extended Martin/Snelling/Shupe family come from my interviews with family members and the research of Terry Harper of Albion, IL, a fellow family member.
The Witt/Hoffman/Franks family has material from Mary Ann Franks O'Neill, Eleanor Hensen Kerber and the website of John Franks.
The Gerken-Helmers (Meyer/Martens, Brandt) family is mostly mine with help of cousins Mary Ann Hill and Eunice Martens Blissard.
Other individuals added information for their extended family. Most of them are credited in their additions. St. John's Lutheran church of Anchor, IL has a public website which gave much data for my great-grandfather and those families who lived near my childhood home.
Now I can share what I've found with others and get even more accurate data. I have used the best information I have, but will gladly correct errors and add or subtract material or transfer memorials if requested by someone closer.
Happy family researching!!

|Cynthia||RE: Lloyd Elliott|
Yes, I know about Gusta Roderick. She is a descendant of Frederick Benton Talburt, my great X4 grandfather. I could not find memorials for her parents in Find a Grave. Her father is Ambers Bradley Roderick. Her Grandmother is Nancy Hargrave, Great Grandfather Robert Baker Hargrave, Great Great Grandmother Nancy Talburt, and Great Great Great Grandfather is Frederick Benton Talburt. You can find her tree in familysearch.org. The information you had on your memorial for Lloyd was helpful. I know who she was married to. Thank you!
Link to Gusta (I hope this works):

If they are your family, I would transfer them to you if you wish. Just let me know.

|DM Scott||RE: Haddock, Fidella and Luke|
Your welcome. No I'm not related, just a avid genealogy fan and when I add my own families I add others too.
Luke and Fidella had two more children.
(1)Leona B Haddock born January 8, 1899 in Illinois. She married Frank Henry Grace in 1927 and he died in 1935 and is also buried in Oakdale Cemetery.
Her 2nd marriage was to Frank William Kaiser.
Leona died August 1, 1982 in Davenport, Iowa
(2) George Frederick Haddock born August 11, 1905 in Illinois; died November 2, 1996 in Arizona
I added Leona to her parents and asked the person who made the memorial for George to link him to his parents.

Thank you for the transfer of this memorial.
|Scott Bowmar||RE: Anliker obituaries|
Hi, Rosetta. It has been my honor to update these as well as many others. I've got so many to do and am slowly but surely making progress on them.
Yes, my paternal grandmother was the eldest child of Emilie (Anliker) Hiigli so I have a tie into that family and I would be happy to manage their memorials if you would like to transfer them.
Thanks for your kind note.
|Carma Muir Golding||Jacob Shupe's siblings|
I forgot - in case you don't have this information. Jacob Shupe's (1788-1856) siblings are:
John, Catherine, Peter, Mary, and Henry.
|Carma Muir Golding||Jacob Shupe|
Sorry to bother you again, but you still need to make some changes on Jacob Shupe's FindAGrave page. You have mixed up two men named Jacob Shupe.
One is Jacob Shupe (1788-1856) who you have made this memorial on. The other Jacob Shupe is his nephew, Jacob Shupe (1798-1869).
You have mentioned Jacob's parents in your story, but then you have put the wrong parents down in the parents section. Could you correct that please.
Also, the siblings you have put down are not this Jacob's siblings, but rather his nephew's siblings. Could you take these siblings off please and put the ones that are mentioned in the story.
Thanks so much**
|Sherry Paul Duty||RE: Marcus Molck and family|
Thank you for the transfer Marcus Max Molck, he is my 2xgreat grandfather.
It is confusing when the names are so similar. I, too, thought at one time that 2xg Grandpa Max was her husband because of the St John Lutheran Church Records. But the age difference bothered me, so I kept looking. After finding her obit, that she went to live on her father-in-law's farm after her marriage,(2xggpa Max had no father in law in Illinois,but Germany) then the fact she gave birth just before she died, had to find the child. Answered all the questions.
Thank you for taking an interest in the Molck family, without people like you, family members in Michigan, might never find our roots.

|Tricia Holt||RE: Rev. Young|
I distantly related to Rev. Young but if you want to transfer I will be glad to manage the memorial. I am just beginning to unravel this branch of my tree - it seems the tree never ends!
Thank you for posting the memorial, Tricia
