Bio

One warm weekend in July, 1985, Aunt Sabra and I were sitting on a bed in Aunt Emma Lou's house. We had spent the day at a memorial service for Emma Lou, and were now quietly looking at pictures and reminiscing. Emma Lou had several pictures of everyone in the family, displayed on the wall in frames obviously chosen with great care.

"Emma Lou was always the one who kept us together," Aunt Sabra said. "From the time Mother passed away until now. She always brought us together, kept us in touch." She looked down, paused, and then said, "I don't want that to end now that Emma Lou isn't here."

Sharing geneology information is the only way I know to repay the many distant cousins that I have met over the decades who have shared with me. Because of them, our family roots are deeper and our family tree has sprouted a few new branches as we've discovered new lines. My sincere thanks to my "new" cousins Dorothy, Raylene, Rex, Bud, and Helen for their help and sharing.

Anyone with more information about any of my postings is encouraged to contact me as well as to share by adding to the posting. I hope that any information I provide can help others find their relatives; hopefully, they'll be a relative of mine.
