I reactivated my volunteer status Oct. 2013|
I grew up and currently live in Royal Oak, MI. I graduated from Dondero High School and Oakland Community College.
I am the genealogist for my immediate family. I find a sense of gratification when I help people out with grave marker photos and obituary look ups (in my immediate community).
The primary surnames I am researching are:
French: Couture, Cloutier, Grenier
Finnish: Kaiponen, Moilanen
PROCEDURES FOR LINKS, ADDING OR CHANGING INFO, TRANSFERS:
Please do not be offended, but for a number of reasons, including the volume of requests, I transfer memorials in accordance with Find A Grave's published guidelines. If you request a transfer, please be sure to include your relationship to the person who is the subject of the memorial. I cannot respond to transfer requests for all memorials with the same surname in a cemetery or to requests for a large number of memorials with the same surname.
If there are entries which need to be linked, please send the info to me via the correction/EDIT option or Suggest a Change (SAC) in the upper right corner and I will add the links. Also, if you would like me to add information to a memorial, please forward the relevant info via the SAC option for the quickest response.
If there is information in a memorial concerning a living person which you would like removed, please send me a request via the SAC option.
Please do not send transfer requests, relationship links or additional information for memorials via the public messages option. PLEASE USE THE EDIT TAB LOCATED IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THE MEMORIAL.
OBITUARIES: Find A Grave has updated its policy concerning the use of obituaries in memorials (See: "Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?" under the Frequently Asked Questions section). If you send a request asking that an obituary be added, please be sure to confirm in your message that you have complied with the policy or I will not be able to add it.

Great that you take the time to do that. Good job!
Thank you for the obit information. I'm not related to this person but I am 1/2 Finnish. Finn names I find, I will take grave marker photo and publish on Find A Grave.
|LoveTrees||RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 37026032|
Oh, I sent you edits that you hadn't accepted yet. I translated the Hebrew names on the inscriptions for Jacob and his wife.

Hello Rosie: As you can see, I'm way behind on my messages. This is in reply to your message in Dec. 2015. Waino is connected to his mother, Ida and somebody posted a picture of him. I linked him to his wife, Alma, today. If you need anything else, let me know. Regards...

Interesting! I know that I read one time in "Find-A-Grave" protocols, that it was not proper thing to delete a memorial that had been transferred. But I didn't realize until your attempt that it was actually impossible to do even if you had permission from the original owner. Thanks for that information. Bob
|Robert Adrian||RE: Ethel and Donald Richard|
Sorry, since transferring both memorials to your account I am no longer able to delete the from "Find-A-Grave" memorials. However, since you now control the memorials, you certainly have my permission (if needed) to delete them yourself.
As for your request to remove last names, I would ask you to reconsider this. For the sake of future family genealogists doing research on your family history, or just wanting a complete obituary for your family tree(s), it would certainly be in their interest to have those names for future reference. Never-the-less, as said above, since you now control these memorial the question may be moot as they would disappear when you have deleted the memorial.

Thank you for your requested. I am very delighted to have transferred both memorials to you account.
|GPoppa||RE: George Henry Camps|
Can not directly link siblings. You must go to George's entry, click on "edit" (upper right), then click on "Relationship", then insert the Find A Grave # for each parent, ie #120946291 -father and #120946316 - mother. It is up to the person that posted George to accept the recommended edits, if so, this will provide the desired link

I'll have to look it up and get back to you on Monday. Going to Idaho this w/e. I can tell you that my Michigan Coutures-- I descend from Joseph Couture and Sara Gagnon, who lived in the Muskegon area. His brother, Noel, lived in the Cheboygan area.
|Leslie Rebentisch Holland||RE: James Raymond Brazier|
I will make the addition to his memorial. Thank you for the info.
