I am a Fellow of the Manchester & Lancashire Family History Society and a member of the Society of Genealogists. I live near Stockport, Cheshire, England. I visit Manchester Central Library most weeks and can do look-ups there. I am also willing to visit cemeteries in the Greater Manchester area and take photographs of headstones, provided the grave number is known.|

Wow, you are amazing doing this service for people.
Unfortunately, I am unable to read the age he was when he died. Did you take note of it or can you read it? It looks like 35 which would mean I have the wrong person as it should read 65 if it is my great-grandfather.
Also, do you know what NConsecrated means and why there are so many names on the headstone? Does that mean he was moved at some stage?
Thank you so much once again, it is so appreciated what you are doing.

Hi Mike, Thanks for the info,I was told James lived near "The Monastry" (which I think Brook House might be near) so I guess it must be the James who lived in Neill st in 1911 (with the red Crosses for deceased children)
Also thanks for the Joseph Worthington grave photo, so now I will check him out as I'm still trying to find info re my 2nd cousin Barry Worthington (M/c police trying to find his family) I messaged you about him & Gorton cemetery.
Thanks for the photo of Hannah Collins in southern cemetery. Without it I wouldn't of known I was on the wrong track.
Once again many thanks

My photos were the Cartledge graves. I probably have a lot more family members in that cemetery (and probably surrounding cemeteries) which I'm still working on. Thanks again
Thankyou for the photos Mike .... Much appreciated :)
Thanks very much for the photo Mike. Appreciate your efforts.

Hi Mike, can I ask if you could see if there is any info on James Archibald Drummond, Gorton,Cemetery Section N/ Consecrated, Grave 239, (Public Grave) there is a photo on f-a-g my brother took some years ago as it is near our sisters but we didn't know who he was, and I now think he may be the person on the 1911 census that you helped me with re: red cross
